What is sub bass?My experience with TF10 is very limited(about 30 minutes to be precise)so I may be wrong completely,but one thing for sure,soundstage on IE8 is huuuge!!

Simple, I don't wanna spend much after these. All my IEMS broke due to cable. Hence looking at replaceable cable ones. The triple driver for clarity :) and reshelling option
 
TF10 dont have a wide sound stage but, boy they have a deep soundstage. depth wise they are amazing !

IE8 on the other hand are very wide + they have a laid back sound. so yeah width wise they have a very good soundstage ( this is what i ahve read )

Triple drivers dont always meen clarity ...e-Q7 are said to be very transparant and very detailed - single driver , CK 10 detail wise unbeatable -2 drivers !

so thats a flawed logic

Removable cable and the reshelling option is understandable.

I dont quite get the reshelling thing ...some say all BA can be reshelled ..some say only the UE and Westones can be! any ideas !

FX700 have better ( much ) sub bass , RE262 have better (much ) body!
 
^ Do they have replaceable cable and re shelling options as well ? :P Also consider the price range. The 262 will surely need an amp so add another 200-250$. The RX700 is the only one which looks really worth to me but that too if you get a really good deal , not 380-400$.
 
with FX700( hay its FX700 not RX ..:( ) recabling is easier as the housing can be disassembled.

HM -262 surely need an amp , cant argue on that. tips make lot of difference with the RE262 , the biflange is nogo for me with re262. will try the sony hybrids as well.

but yeah TF10 are more suited for the OP as he needs studio type bass, but do try them before buying ...IE8 also ! it might be that you want even more bass ...then go for Full sized HPs/ customs

OT: faheem, if you order the monster get tips include me in the go please!
 
^ I wont get them unless they are reasonable .Spending 2-3k on tips doesnt make sense :(.Will also wait and see how the stock/comply/ and my other dozen different tips fit the TF10s . Depending on that will try more tips. Need to save money for something else now (non-audio).The only possible audio purchase could be a cable for TF10.

Aren't you getting them already from head-fi FS? Even if not, wait for something to turn up in FS = cheaper!
 
there was one sellign the gel tips for $10 ...but he did not reply to my PM, i did not send him another.

..also FS = quick sale = sold in US only , cause no one bothers to sent it to india! :(
 
lol, i myself saw that yesterday ! BTW read the thread ...rattling stopped after the cable was changed to null audio lune :) it was due to the cable and there are praises of the lune cable all over the place !! :( i want to hear TF10 with the lune cable ! :(

the housing came off later :P but that can happen to any IEM ..right ?
 
^ Housing of SM3 which is much costlier is not great either :P

I think one has to be a bit more cautious when handling the cable change with TF10.

That's where I like the Panas. The housing at least feels much more stronger & the pin is similar to a mobile charger and hence much, much easier to change :)
 
but wont that go loose easily !

i liked the pin of TF10. i mean they are less likely to go loose ! ..they were sturdy and good !

from what i have seen the pins of shure 535 are a balance b/w easy and sturdy !
 
^ It does not feel that way at all. Even if it behaves like a mobile charger pin, in my years of mobile use, I've not seen them becoming loose. Besides, you are not going to change cables every day. Are you? :)

TF10 may have sturdy cables that stay in, but the housing is not as strong as the Zirconias. So I'll be extra careful anyways.
 
i think you can get one cheaper later when the 95 ones arrive here in india.

11K is still not bad though, if you like their signature , but if you dont like them they wont go for that price as the amazon deal has drastically reduced its selling value!
 
How can the 95 USD ones come to INDIA. I guess Amazon did not ship the products to INDIA. Any pointers to people with extra pairs? Also people will not sell these at a price which is less then 9k for sure
