First Veyron Crash!

We’ve seen plenty of smashed Ferrari Enzos but this is the first time we’ve across images of a wrecked Bugatti Veyron. Information is sketchy, but it’s thought that a pool of water on the road caused the AWD supercar to lose traction and then spin out of control, sending it head first into a ditch on a road near Shepperton in the UK. Most of the cabin section and engine compartment look relatively undamaged, however, it’s hard to determine what internal damage to the drivetrain there is if any. Hopefully the driver got out unscathed.

According to the source, this is the first time a private customer has actually crashed a Veyron. Engineers reportedly destroyed two prototype examples during testing, which was part of the reason for the long delays during the vehicle’s development.

:O :O There goes 2 wheels, 2 radiators, 2 headlights, 1 front grille, 1 bonnet, 3 glass windshields and 1 diamond :(

what do u mean not totally totaled? the car is as good as gone, none is gonna repair that thing..

the car actually costs over 5 mil $, Bugatti are selling it at a major loss :O
 
As someone on finalgear forums said,a spike should be fitted on supercars instead of airbags so that the drivers drive carefully :)

If i remember correctly, no insurance companies support veyron insurance.... This was said during its review in Top gear...

u mean to say it'll be written off as total loss ? ... I dont think so .. they'll be looking to salvage whatever they can

That was mainly because it had just been introduced ... besides you cant drive on public roads without insurance iirc :)
 
All of them were sold before they were made.

They were sold soon after Volkswagen announced they were making the cars....

It is the fastest production car...

As to THE FASTEST car, it could be anything. The definition is too vague.... I guess NHRC drag cars.... also called funny cars.
