Review Flipkart - Feedback Thread

Looks like flipkart is more adept at cancelling orders lately? After I cancelled my order, got a reply that the item which was already shipped would take 4 days to return back to their warehouse.. Wonder how this works when it took more than 16 days to reach the destination and return trip takes just 4 days..?
Again, the situation is similar to AmazonIN. They gave me a deadline for returns else which if I missed it they will deduct the cost from my bank account. The good news was I don't think that I missed it because I got refunded in the form of a voucher.

An update about my cancelled order..

The refund has not yet been initiated. Don't know what auspicious moment they are waiting for to initiate it. I spoke to CC rep today, who as usual confirmed that it will be done today itself. Anyway, I again have sent a mail to Sachin Bansal about their (lack of proper) Customer Care. If he chooses to ignore it, fine. At least I will know that he also does not care for Brand Flipkart anymore. Hopefully, won't have to call Flipkart CC again tomorrow for the same.

Seriously.. what a might fall in CC at Flipkart:(:mad:
 
Think this started since many on Twitter used to troll flipkart with fake issues with orders.
And people used to proudly brag about it.
 
May be, but that is not the right approach. Genuine cases have to be given attention and resolved.
That's what differentiates a good CS from a mediocre one. Hope my issue is one-off but does not look

Dont know for sure whether that was done quickly after my mail to their CEO or not. Anyway I gave my feedback to them and hope they improve their CS quality which is not the same it was earlier.

Folks are saying FK is going down in service while Amazon is better, but I've been ordering occasionally from FK for 5 years now and have always had good experiences as far as I can remember.

This is including my latest order for DDR4 RAM which I ordered on Thursday late night and got delivered today (Sunday) afternoon with excellent packaging (lots of bubble wrap) and the chips seemed to be in proper original product packing (not tamper proof sealed though), brand spanking shiny new look, and the serial numbers checked out fine on GSkill website. Seller was "eHardwareStation" on FK, on invoice it is SMC Delhi. Haven't yet actually installed/tested because waiting for CPU+mobo to arrive from Amazon.

Not so good experience (so far) with my latest Amazon order for Skylake CPU (will post more in AZ thread) though I've only ordered a few/handful of items from AZ India and started with them only this year.

People are generally cribbing about the customer care experience from flipkart which has gone down the ladder. Also ws retail has limited itself selling on many products opening the market for 3rd party sellers. This had made people disappointed about flipkart.

Amazon on the other hand has much better customer care till now.
 
Yep, I've never had to deal with FK customer care cuz (knock on wood) so far never faced any problems with them.

Amazon, though I'm in the middle of an issue right now, they seem to be handling it very well, so concur with what you just said.

Had ordered a Samsung microwave from FK. Seller was BestHomeRetail as that was the only seller who had the model I wanted.

2 days after ordering, Seller marked the order as 'Shipped' and provided no tracking number. The next day the order was marked as 'Delivered'.

I immediately contacted FK customer service and they assured me that they would look into it. Got delivery of the product the next day. It was delivered by the seller's employee (and not by courier) which basically means that seller had not shipped the ordered and instead had just marked it as shipped and delivered. Was it an attempted fraud? I am not sure. But I will avoid the seller the next time.
 
Ordered a router as I shifted to a new flat and need to have the WiFi up ASAP. Ordered on Saturday and paid ₹40 extra for next day delivery. The tracking status changed from "Out for Delivery" to "Undeliverable due to logistic issues" to "rescheduled to 18/01/16" throughout the day.
I was happy getting stuff from Amazon, only ordered this time from FK because Amazon's earliest delivery timeline was for Monday. Now I understand that it was a huge mistake.

Bought Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime for my mom from FLIPKART.COM on 12th December. First problem faced on next day after getting the phone. Problem was Google playstore was crashing every time I am trying to install any apps. But the problem was solved after updating the Google playstore itself.
Next problem was the main reason you should avoid buying phone Redmi 2 Prime.
• Signal Reception problem
• Poor Microphone. Voice sound is very low and not clear because of this.
• Voice call was not clear.
• Battery backup is worst.
You have to charge three times in a day. If you check one and two star reviews at flipkart, most of the certify user are complaining about the Signal reception, poor microphone and poor battery backup problem. From the views of the user it seems that this is manufacturing defect. Now the real problem comes when trying to lodge complain with flipkart.com. Lodged 1st complain on 10th January, 2016 and mailed with detailed explaining about the problem tocs@flipkart.com. On Next day they cancel my first request and mailed me some troubleshooting guide. Tried all the steps but the problem persisted. Booked another request for replacement/refund. Got a sms that technical specialist will call on this date and time. If you miss that particular call, you will be given another date/time. Received the call and explained everything but he refused to give me a replacement or refund instead asked me to install smartchk app (Refund was applicable as that the product was out of stock). They provide a link to download the app. I refused to install one as in the Terms and Conditions of 30 days’ replacement (on their flipkart.com page), no where they have provided about this steps. They cannot impose something overnight. Why they are hiding the actual terms and condition? I cannot understand. I said the technical agent to post this steps in 30days replacement terms and condition and then I will follow. That guy immediately said I cannot help in this regards. Wow what a reply To prove this, I even mailed them my personal call recording. Call recording feature was preinstalled with the phone. But still yet to get any reply from them. I lodged total 4 Return request and every time it was cancelled by the Flipkart customer care. After all this, now the 30 days’ period was over. But my request to all user at TE forum members is that please buy any product from flipkart after lots of thinking as they have hidden terms and condition about the returning the product. I am not going to buy any product from flipkart unless this problem gets solved To Flipkart.com if you are watching this post please refund my money back as I bought this product for my mom. Please refund if you have any emotion left.

More than the products themselves the one thing which I hate is screwed up customer service like the above. Also their failure to fulfill their so-called-refund guarantee is scumbaggery. Its obvious that they don't give a crap about customer satisfaction or even concern themselves with problems faced by them. Looks like flipkart, no matter how many sales they boast or how much their shitty company is worth, will never improve in this regard.
@Tenida have you tried contacting xiaomi directly and flipkart's higher ups? Give it a try. Contact xiaomi india on twitter to get more visibility.
There are a few items which i want to buy on flipkart but this is another reminder that i better don't.

I had read their terms and conditions regarding electronic good, it is very limited (Damaged, Defective, Item not as described). The policy allows them to easily deny a replacement request.
Hence, I never buy any electronic goods from them.
Currently, Amazon has the best return policy

EDIT This was not the case earlier. They had very good return policy. I know people were able to return phones (like Moto G) hassle free.

Yes, will go to the district consumer court next if didn't solved by Flipkart. I just want them understand that consumer satisfaction is usually important other than promoting.

I do agree about Amazon India. But most of the popular mobile phones are only available at Flipkart e.g. Nexus 5X or Nexus 6P. Flipkart is just monopolizing the market.

No, unless the test failed. Last time they pass the test for flicker screen for my friend's Moto G 2. Just now got a mail mentioning they will call tomorrow. Few hours ago, I had sent them another mail regarding the refund
 
Just went to the Xiaomi service center today. Flipkart asked me that, they will grant the refund once I give them a jobsheet from the service center itself. But guys what I saw there is just horrifying. Saw three guys with Redmi 2 phone having similar problem. Problem was battery getting drained out within 30 minutes. Service center changed total three motherboard but the problem are still there. I suggestion will be don't buy any Xiaomi phone. For my phone they just degraded the software :p My problem is still there.

Yes brother. Redmi 1S and Redmi Note 3G was a good phone from them. But after that all are just another china product.[DOUBLEPOST=1453569551][/DOUBLEPOST]Finally flipkart is giving me the refund. Problem solved.
