Review Flipkart - Feedback Thread

I placed an order for a small non-LEGO minifigure on Flipkart on the 8th of July. Item price was just 400 bucks and was being sold by a third party seller. No Flipkart Assured stamp on this one. Since the value was low I decided to go ahead and order. The item arrived after 15 days (23rd July). When I opened the box it was a wrong mini-figure, not the one I had ordered. Very annoying after 2 weeks of waiting! I proceeded to ask for a Replacement since Refund was not available through the Flipkart App.

Finally, this morning (1st of August) I got the Replacement and this time the correct item arrived. So, after 3 weeks I now have the item I had ordered, whew! I will avoid non-Flipkart Assured products from now on completely (irrespective of the price).

part is interchangeable and upgradable like the steering wheel, motor, pedals, etc. It’s fully modular so that’s a plus point advantage, while Logitech is unnecessarily over priced but it does come with a 2 year warranty.
Yes, I’ve heard about that. I’ve been told by several people we have to contact Amazon CS or Flipkart Customer Support directly for any issue and if bought via their direct dealer (example - RetailNet for Flipkart for their warranty period of 1 year). I know Flipkart CS can be a huge pain in the @$$ but it can be solved with a few threats on twitter and / or consumer forum complaints.

Also, these models are built to last for years + each part is interchangeable and upgradable like the steering wheel, motor, pedals, etc. It’s fully modular so that’s a plus point advantage, while Logitech is unnecessarily over priced but it does come with a 2 year warranty.

So that’s the pros and cons. Risky, but I felt the price drop made it kind of worth it.

Edit: On the ThrustMaster ‘where to buy’ in India page, sameo.in (located in Mumbai) has been added to the list. It is possible they are the new importers.

How do you do few threats on twitter . I dont do online shopping at all . But since thrustmaster t248 sells at 15k i am tempted but scared after reading about flipkart and especially retailnet experiences. Please teach how to do it? how do you connect them on twitter or other forums. would u be kind enough to explain a bit deeply?

Order and once it arrives it should be open box delivery, meaning the courier guy will open it in front of you, you need to record the whole ordeal and accept if its correct. If not send it back. If it’s not open box delivery, still record the whole thing, have someone stand and record it clearly from start to finish. If flipkart rejects it, you can tweet them at their official CS handle on twitter / X. By giving threats, just say you are filing a complaint on consumer forum, 8/10 times it works, If that doesn’t work, then go through with it. They’ll wake up and initiate a refund or whatever. Also, would be better if you can get people to retweet and like the post for more visibility. No need to panic, it usually gets solved, but it’s time consuming and lot of stress because these amounts can big for some people. Good luck!

I order a Thrustmaster TMX at 10k. The product was at my nearest hub for a week and then they couldn't find it so they cancelled the order. They don't have the stock for these items nor the bandwidth to handle the sale. I would say buy items cautiously on this website. Bear in mind this is a Flipkart Assured product.

bought a red chief shoe from flipkart. surprisingly it was an "open box delivery".
unfortunately, its not the right fit for me, so tried exchanging to a lower size.
no luck , fk is only giving me the option to get a bigger size, even tho smaller one is available to order anew.
tried refunding but the pickup guy is saying that "Article number" isnt matching
since then its been a vicious cycle of calls between cc and pickup guy since last 4-5 days.
all this for a 1.5k pair of shoes.

Flipkart has become a dumpster fire. Unless absolutely necessary I don't buy from them.

I had received 500rs gift card from my employer so thought of utilizing it. Found a product and even though the price is same Amazon, they were asking 10rs for facilitating "best deal". As I had coupon I ignored it. Turns out the product was intra city and arrived at the nearest Delhivery hub in 1 day. Then they started playing games - Failed to deliver, attempt next day for next 3-4 days. I can understand that they have volume of orders and if the delivery is not priority they can delay. But the whole fake updates seems to be the norm in courier industry. That is why any retailer using Xpressbee or Delhivery is my blacklist forever.

I had added another item in the order. That item's price dropped on Amazon. The item had yet to be shipped. So, I thought it'll be easy to cancel this item. But No. Flipkart wanted to cancel the whole order and wouldn't even deliver the item which was already at the nearest hub. Basically trying to force me to buy the unwanted item.

I tried reordering the first item on Flipkart to utilize the coupon again. But this time Flipkart tells me that it was my fault that item was cancelled so if it happens again they will charge 50rs as cancellation fees.

Does anyone knows about FK seller: IndiFlashMart. Are they good for purchasing product like tab. The product is registered as "Flipkart assured" but since there are so may negative feedback for FK, so little worried about it. They have open box delivery option, does this mean that delivery boy will also start device and show it is working?
BTW this tab is not available on Amazon.

Not the same but got fridge from Reliance Digital and boy did they mess it up. Box was opened to see broken hinges and RD took a long time to refund. At the end of the day, unless it is an open box delivery I am not buying any house hold appliance online. If there is no open box I'd rather buy offline. The whole online shopping experience is taking a nose dive.

True. This sale has seen a lot of negative feedback for Amazon as well. Looks like the Flipkart scammers are catching up with Amazon.

I ordered a PS5. Promised delivery was in 6 days, got delayed by 5 days and finally got delivered today after sitting in my nearest hub for a week.

I ordered a Deepcool CG560 case from Flipkart, which let's say didn't turn out so well.

I ordered this case for a friend and it was opened during delivery. The guy cut the box and showed the case which was all intact and new and ok. Although he didn't removed fully from the box. Since it was sealed we didn't even doubt it.
But now at evening upon opening the thermocol and plastic; took a look closer and we found the plastic string things were totally broken on the front panel. The downside had this fairly sized rust accumulated part already which my friend was not ok with. He could have lived with broken plastic but the rust was a not a good sign for him. And said to me 'yar ye nai hona chaiye tha; varna to thoda bahot damage chalta he'.
And i started replacement process but Flipkart didn't offer one. Instead a fairly long pickup time at 7th November with refund only.
Nevertheless, while putting things back in and we found these 2 broken plastic pieces stucked to thermocol. Didn't bothered to look where it came from and packed it for return anyways.
My friend scolded me with a disappointed smile and a negative nod.

This is just a one time experience. I have ordered a lots of stuff from Flipkart and all things were totally fine. But leaving this here only to remember to not overjoy on anything you got in sale and things can be go bad always.

Flipkart & amazon are known to deliver cabinets with shattered side glass panel, dents on body & broken pieces in many cases. That is why many who want piece of mind order from the specialists(aka prime, md, vedant, itdepot etc) even at a higher price as they know how to handle these things unlike fk/amazon delivery guys most of whom don't even know that even cabinets weighing 5kg+ can be damaged by bad handling. Another well known fact is, whenever amazon & especially fk come up with some very good deal on some good pc component chances are that it is going to be very old stock (I received such products in this sale with mfg dates varying from Jan 2021 to Jan 2022).

I ordered an iPhone 14 plus from flipkart. It was open box delivery, are they supposed to open the iPhone box? I was not at home, they opened the iPhone box, the phone was on when recd and the default screen protector was pasted on the back instead of front. Maybe someone tried to open it.
