For all ppl who said ferrari is gonna dominate this race : first indications that it will not happen:

He is a solid 1.5 seconds behind the p1 man, Heidfeld !

If this is the wound for ferrari, then when kimi (or any others other than ferrari)wins the GP tommorow, then that would would like rubbing salts on the wounds :bleh:

As usual i suspect, the other teams will plan out a crash to get MS and ferrari out of the race...
But, this time around, MS and Ferrari will win.

And what I do not get is why people gloat over Ferrari struggling???
You have heard of this saying right ---- Getting to the top is easirt than staying at the top. Ferrari have stayed at the top for 6 years..
Has ANY OTHER team managed that??? I don't think so.....
So, even if Ferrari do not get a single podium finish thgis year, it is totally justified.
I am tired of hearing people argue for the sake of it.
Whenever I try to point out facts, all I get is an earful is of "Ferrari lost". So what??? Haven't they won 15 out of 18 races last year??? Every time the rules are changed, Ferrari bounce back.
2002 was a walkover. They changed the rules in 2003. Was a close fought contest. Everyone said the rule changes were a good thing. What did Ferrari do???
They won 83.33333 % of races in 2004.
What does FIA do??? Michelin make harder tyres. So, make the no tyr change rule. Ferrari and Bridgeston struggle. In 2005, Ferrari Struggle.
Let us wait and see where this saga goes.
And just for all you dunderheads information, it is not Ferrari which is struggling( not particularly), it is Bridgestone. Ferrari set the fastest lap at Imola. At Spain till it was broken in the very last lap of the race. The fastest lap at Monaco was set by none other than Schumi.
You can all draw your own conclusions from this.
And Imola was a perfect example of what Ferrari are capable of. 14th to 2nd place for Michael. Who else could have done that??? And he had to overtake all the fast cars. Not some Jordans and Minardis and was not aided by a bunch of retirements and crashes and safety car periods like JPM in Monaco.
Ferrari is the best. Maybe not this year. But history will record the Ferrari F1 team as the best ever.
So, all you ferrari haters ---- you can go on spamming on this site or anywhere else you want. But you also know the truth and the Ferrari lovers also know the truth.

PS: NOTE: I am not against any other team. I also love Kimi(I hate JPM though). I like Alonso, I like all other teams on the grid.

did any one noticed the ferraris were really heavy on fuel load and also they were weak in first section but in last section with hotter and ripe tyres they were just blazingly fast baring mistakes by both drivers due to tyres they could have got a better position.
but i presume an exciting race with a lot of overtaking manouvers by everyone

yea, both of the Ferrari's were resoanbly heavy from the looks of it, also, MS looked quite cool and relax indicating a good stretegy inplace, thats the beauty of this one qualifying sesion, u never know untill the first round of pitstops in the race..

Renault looks doubtfool as that car is eating up the tyres, well, i wud never comment on a Mclaren, coz one moment its riding like a dream and the next moment, its parked on the side of the road due to some problem, lol. Williams, well dunno, i dont think they got that much potential to maintain the lead throughout the race, so the very top contender wud be, yes Toyota, and McLaren, if their car dosent dies and of cource Ferrari if the tyres hold up, so, looks exciting..

Indian cricket team performs badly on soo many ocassions. Still we cheer them up and try to convince ourself that we are the 2nd best

okay..agreed u can't count a ferrari out esp. if its MS ferrari...

u'll have to agree that this McLaren (MP4-20) is a good machine.
much faster and reliable too. easily the best machine of 2005.
abt fuel load..u'll never know who's fully loaded unless u see the
race tomm. it may so happen that ferrari fans are forced to
believe MS is on full load due to their lack of pace here

why not Alonso? man, JPM sux bigtime, everyone agree on that front, but not Alonso, hes a good driver, and am sure he'll go long way, along with Kimi too
@Quickfire, i never said the Mclaren MP4-20 is a bad car or something, its just that when it comes to McLaren, relaibility issues pop in out of nowhere, or the stupid mechanics do something sily and earn themselves a penalty/ban (remember BAR? lol ) and this wud end up hurting Kimi, the 2k3 championship, Kimi had a high chance of winning the championship, what happens, his car dies on him, same car ther performs so well over time and time again, so as i said, reliabilty is always an issue when it comes to McLaren, and me aint no Ferrari supporter, i like Ferrari coz Michael Schumacher drives for them, whatever u say, tacticts or no tactics, he drives like a dream, and no one even comes close to his style at the moment, maybe some day someone will, but as of now, i dont think so..
