Naa, this is new one, they kinda rushed into this one coz of the lack of performance from the old one.
regarding the experience factor, i clearly said, one day, both Kimi and Alonso will be upto that mark and maybe even beyond that.
Now comes the tyre factor, Bridgestones have been struggling for the last 3 years, last year, Ferrari was able to take the pace out of those tyres through their stretegy and the amount of testing they do. many tems have been shifting over to Michalin every year. Enven bridgestone is struggling due to this coz now they do most of their testing with only Ferrari, though this should traditionally help ferrari, but somehow, Bridgestones have made a tyre that is very hard to get upto the performing level, the tyre wud come up to its optimal temps and stuff after a few laps, so that wud only help in Race and not in one lap qualifying. this is the reason when a few races back MS was driving quite smoothly without doing too many thing during the start of the race and only started pushing it in mid race and managed to get a 2nd spot. So as i said, lets see how well the bridgestones prove to be during the race.
And i say again, nothing wrong with Ferrari, its only that the tyre is a headace, and need i say all things in F1 are related, so to correct thetyre problem, they need to do hosts of other things, maybe the downforce, that wud inturn put more pressure on the tyres resulting in what u saw, a puncture, hehehe
so a wrong tyre really messes up a cars performance in more than one way
