Proper simming isn't meant to be done with 8 buttons anyway. Pretty shallow coming from someone using a game pad to play GTR, but it's a quarter of the experience.

Some of the add-on aircrafts and landscapes for FS9 looks way better than even FSX. The best ones are mostly paid though.
 
U kidding me... those aerial shots are incredible. Can't get any more photo realistic. Those are not just images, they are actual polygons with satellite imagery draped on them.
 
Those sure do look nice. Anyways the boards gotten over the fact PC's do have the edge in graphics the last time we had the PCvsConsole buddy, no need for you to keep bringing it up again and again.

LOL by the time its released the PC gfx are gonna kick ass.
 
Yes. But like i said before, its gameplay not graphics that makes the games. And no doubt consoles have the edge in that as much as PC has it in graphics :P

NO offence but thats generally what i find. Now either be for graphics or dont be but don't try to use every point as you find it convenient to support your argument. No offence meant btw :P
 
None taken Blade. Bluff probably didn't knew about the whole GFX issues. I always supported PC in graphics though, its one of the advantages on its part, and i think this is pretty much understood and accepted. Kudos to Chaos for bringing the consoles into it again when this discussion could very well be without consoles in it. Now just see where this thread goes when it could have become a good discussion on that flight simulator game.
 
There is no argument blade !! Console gaming owns PC gaming any given day ! I agree that PC has edge over graphics but apart from that there is nothing in pc Gaming to right home about ! YES it is ones personal opinion whether he prefers console gaming or the pc gaming but the majority is with the consoles ! And One thing u all PC FB have to realize is that pc is getting new hardware upgrade almost every month unlike consoles where its just one time thing. I mean u have to appreciate PS2 for this as it was released 5 YEARS back and used the technology available then and yet after 5 years its producing games like god of war , gran tourismo , black,etc which can compete to the finest of pc games in the graphics department !!
 
bluff, this kinda debate will see no end or winners... you cannot convince PC gamers that consoles are better and it goes the other way round too :cool2:

No Thats not True , I was a hardcore pc gamer 2 years back ! But then someone convinced me of buying a console !! I have played enough pc games and enough console games and hence i came to the conclusion that console gaming owns pc gaming !!:bleh:
 
Please get back on topic guys. This is not the PC vs. Consoles thread. Go and argue/force your opinions on others/flame/debate there if you like... :P

About FS X, yeah, the graphics looks nice! The game looks too good to run on my PC :P
 
Same here Dart :P I dont think it can run like shown in the screenies on our present comps(except the lucky guys with 7800GTs and X1900/X1800 cards )

Its a different market. FS strives for realism not dog fights. Hell you don't even have the option of dogfighting with passenger aircraft. Its not really a game, its a simulator and the best one at doing that job.
 
^^LOL its not meant to be fun :D. Its a tool for learning how to fly an aircraft. Thats what FS is :). Combat Flight simulator is the dogfight one with arcadey fun element and I agree with u, it sucks :P.
