Features 3 teams (Australia, West Indies and England) in a 6 over a side match. You get to bowl and bat. In fact you are MADE TO both bat and bowl because there is no Autoplay even in the full version.
Looks decent though the controls feel a bit complicated initially (you have to control batsman movement, shot type and shot direction using three different set of keys). Crowd responds to shots better than C2005 (where they are always jumping and hopping madly).
Fielders actually have their feet on the ground
Fielding is semi automatic. Fielderws reach the ball using AI but throwing and catching is controlled manually. Something like free kicks in Fifa 2003.
Sounds not very good though..even the cheering sound is a small loop and out of sync with actual game. ON field sounds not good either. Controls ocassionally don't respond and also, sometimes mapped wrongly for left handed batsman.
The action happens too fast...nearly at real life speeds which does not make for a good gaming experience. (Remember the slo mo kind of gameplay of original BLC as against real life speeds of Cricket World Cup...positions seem to have reversed this year).
Overall, hard to compare against C2005 on the basis of demo. Because BLIC demo gives a fair idea of the gameplay but C2005 demo does not
