I could only find the MSI cyclone 1 gig version with mediahome.in..

its better you call them up, maybe the have it, but its not listed..
MSi Hawk GTX460 is out at Prime ABGB - Retails at about 14k - Higher clocks , better build - 0WN3D !

Hi Guys,

Currently I have a 17" LCD and am getting option of 2 cards in the same price bracket - 4870 1Gig and 5770 1 Gig.
I have plans to upgrade to 23" LCD/LED in coming months. Please suggest which card I can continue to play games on on 23" screen.

Thanks,
Mohit

12.9k seems to be a bit on the higher side..

you tried calling anuj(mediahome) ?
i love his pricing.. :)

which monitor are you using?

Anuj is ill. http://www.techenclave.com/market-feedback/mediahome-in-feedback-thread-173212-new-post.html

Also only the 1GB MSI Cyclone is listed in his site. None of the dealers in TE(or Ero dov) have listed 768MB version of the Cyclone.
In the SP road price update thread it was mentioned street price in Blore for 768MB version was ~11.4k+VAT ~ 12k.
So getting a 768MB version for close to 13k while u can get a 1GB version for few 100's more doesnt make sense(Infact Zotac's 1GB version costs just ~12.9k :p)

HD 4870 is quite old now..

get the HD 5770 ~ 9k..

A GTX 460 ~ 12k will be an even better option, keeping in mind the resolution you will be playing at..

Full system specs?

Get the 1gig version..

it will give around 3-5 frames more than the 768 mb one..

increasing your budget by 1k will be worth it when you buy a new full HD monitor..

IIRC, only xfx makes a single slot HD 5770...

and i doubt its with any of the dealers in TE..

Corsair VX450 + Sapphire HD5770 for 12-13k

Or If there is some possibility of a monitor upgrade in future, then GTX260 768MB + VX450 = ~16k

You can go for a Zotac GTX460 1gb- 12.9k

Corsair VX550 - Rs. 4.8k

Total ~ 18k

This is the best setup you can currently buy.

Or

GTX460 768mb- 10.5-11.5k

Corsair VX550- 4.8k

Total- 15.3k- 16.3k depending on the brand of the GTX460 768 you choose...
