It wont fall to 13k for atleast 6 months. Maybe 15-16 by the end of the year and q1 next year.

Nvidia cards are gonna cost more than that and availability will be an issue.

To make the most of your resolution and be future proof get a 5850. It should play everything at max eyecandy at your resolution for a year. After that heavy dx11 titles "might" be a bother.

Be patient dont buy anything till december and get a 5850 for around 16k then. Drivers should have also matured more and Dirt 2 will release around then one of the first DX11 games.

Your psu will suffice for a 5850. It should even run the 5870.

i wud suggest get the GTX 275.i'm using 1 & i game @ 1920x1080.till now almost all games hav run without any probs with all eyecandy enabled. (except crysis).
so u can safely buy that card.

My advise....if you havent bought a motherboard, but a crossfire one. Buy one 4850. Then, when you feel require more, buy another one. 4850 has amazing crossfire scaling and easily takes on the cards on top.

The 5770 is the best card in that price point. If you could stretch your budget to 18k, you can go for the 5850. These are the only cards in the market that supports DX11 and Open CL and ATI Stream which gives great VFM and superb performance.

The 5770 is a great buy considering that it will future proof you for the next 2 to 3 years. Although, if you are looking at raw brute force performance then the 4890 makes a great GPU to look at.
