I think its your cpu and ram holding you back. I got an average of 17fps too in the benchmark but when i bumped the ram from ddr 667 to ddr800 it increased to about 30fps

Is anyone else facing a texture flickering/z-fighting issue on an nVidia card? I am using the latest drivers and patch but no improvement.

The impact of OC'ing on this game is interesting.. bumping my 8600GT DDR2 to 660/960 makes the game playable at 1440x900 medium/low settings. I have a really OC'able processor, but Kingston Value RAM. Should I try tuning that as well?

those are pretty high voltages. not exactly advisable without any cooling on them.

dangerous in winters also ? what are the safe voltages for ram i should use ?

high voltages are generally not advisable for extended usage.. and thats applicable to any part of your comp, not just the RAM.

the safe limit for it is very dependent on the RAM itself, but in your case these are sticks of Value RAM, which arent exactly famous for ocing.. i would suggest you bring it down to maybe 2.0 and run it at the best possible speeds you can at that voltage.

Thnx :D , rams are now running at 1066mhz(5-5-5-12 2T 2.0 v) ..gonna try to bootup system with even lower volts :ohyeah:

Guys, Sometimes while loading on a mission (eg: Payback) the game hangs on to the loading screen forever , neone know a solution for this? :S

Try to play some other mission & then load this mission. Alternatively, you can alt+tab when this happens to see if this works.

^^both of u guys , replayed it more than 3 times still its stuck.

@Ethan whats the Alt+Tab thing mate?

When you reach at the point & it starts loading the mission, just hit the alt+tab button & the game will minimise to the desktop. You can then hit alt+tab again to get back into the game & see if it works. I had a similar issue with loading but that was on only one mission. I suppose it was 'Late Checkout'. I tried completing some other mission & saved it. Came back that mission again & it loaded in a jiffy. Never happened after that. :)

the prob is i dont have anyother mission except this , only the "Assasination" stuff no real missions. but will wait around a bit.

How can that be? AFAIK 'Payback' is one of Jimmy Pegorino's mission. So that means you still have some more missions before you complete the main storyline.
