Hi all,
Got a bit of daring after seeing the Pi thread on the forum. Now I want to know does anybody know of any face-offs between Pi Model B versus say a Celeron haswell or pre-haswell as well.
In some ways it probably is laughable as the Pi is a single board computer whereas even the cheapest motherboard is a multi-layered 10-12 layers, see https://www.quora.com/How-many-layers-are-there-in-a-typical-motherboard-and-what-are-the-benefits and hence upgradable options are quite a few both in the CPU as well as RAM, graphic card etc. Has there been any such contests/discussions that people have seen on the web. I am not interested in the race with other embedded/SBC boards but versus traditional computers. If you know of any either here or third-party links please share. Hope the mods don't mind.
Also see http://www.fedevel.com/welldoneblog/2013/09/3-steps-how-to-determine-calculate-number-of-pcb-layers/ - it is an advertorial for a course but gives some info. so guess good.
