Have Bsnl broadband speeds increased by 100%?

Got a paper notice from BSNL chennai telephones, it said that "Unlimited Broadband plans speed increased ny 100%"

Is anyone feel extra speeds.

100 % means full speed depend on which plan are u using example like 750 ul 512 kbps give 50-60 kb promise speed , or 1350 u 4 Mbps after 20 gb FUP or 2150 ul and 100 gb after fup so the speed give full throttle at promise speed on fix plan ;)

wow..is this really happening...speed increase? What about other states? From 4 years I am on 600 limited plan, time to move to unlimited plans now :D

But, actually i am also didn't get extra speeds in chennai.

I think its about time BSNL provides some speed increase if they want to compete against other players.

Even if they increase the speed,they might introduce some new FUP.So dont get your hopes too high.

If True and if they have no FUP or at least a 30-40GB FUP with 1Mbps and 512Kbps after that then I would also move from Home combo 500 to this plan :) At last some good news for BSNL broadband users if these becomes official :D

My 750 UL doesn't show any improvement as yet.

I think india IS competing with the others in the world.

Soon there will 2mbps unlimited.

I am in Home Combo 600 which has 2.5GB limit and 250 calls.. normally i end up paying 1000Rs extra for the extra usage but quite impressed with the speeds as i download around 1.5GB of data from 6-8am (free usage) and my monthly usage is around 55-60GB.

The only pain is that free usage starts from 2am, instead of increasing the speed or download limit, i would be happy if they increase the unlimited usage say 10pm-8am or even 10am-4am if they can afford only 6hrs of free usage (again they won't do it..)
