As some of you may have read, I am having some problems with Dell. For those who haven't, the story in short is that I ordered a LCD monitor (S2409W) on the 18th of November, under the assurance that they had enough stock, and that I would definitely get it by the 27th of November (rather most likely before then). Long story short, Now it's the 5th of December, and they appear to not have any stock even now, and have given me vague clues that perhaps they won't have any stock till the 12th of December (processing and shipping thereafter putting the tentative delivery date now at 19th of December).
I am considering taking action against them for inducing me to purchase the monitor (the first thing they seem to have done is charge my card) under false assurances and misrepresentations.
My story apart, was wondering if anyone else here has had similar experiences with Dell, and if so what steps did they take.
