Dude I wish I could kiss you. I was about to buy this SAMSUNG 40" 40EH5300 SMART LED TV +1 YEAR DEALERS WARRANTY | eBay and then brainwave struck me so I thought of looking upon TE. Gosh you just saved me close to 22K. Planning for a Bangkok trip next ;)

Hi Siva..
I did not check the Samsung 2012 models but was unable to locate UA32D5000PR which is still a better choice than UA32EH5000.
I just came back from Bankok last week and was able to bring in 2012 models Sony KDL-32EX650 and KDL-40EX650 at 17500 Baht & 23000 Baht from Panthip Plaza.:)
I managed to get a VAT refund on both but the warranty card clearly mentions that Warranty is available only in Thailand.I am yet to check the same with Sony India.
I will be at Bankok again on 2nd or 20th July and will update on the Warranty Status then.

how does 26278 come in? is this post a vat refund?
also, how much would the duty be in the airport for this model?

Hi the difference is due to fluctuating Baht to INR conversion prices after deduction of VAT refund...Fortunately they did not ask for any duty on the same.

How much is the difference at both the countries for TV prices?
also wanted to buy Cloths for me, family relatives? Require suggestion which place to visit Singapore or Thailand..
