According to Indian 'tradition' brass is the 'best' material, beating even exotics like titanium etc. Don't believe me? just go to the local dealer and ask him :P
 
I agree that brass is strong and is preferred traditionally. But was there any existence of alloy during those days ?

Surely brass was best when alloy din't exist. Alloy has other advantage over the traditional metals.Hence they are replacing brass.

Brass is itself an alloy of copper and zinc.

What kind of alloys u r talking about ???

I have ordered 100+ items from HS18 till date, and they are quite professional in their job. I'm one of their happy customers.. :)

Though for one of my orders, my money was stuck for 15+ days, but they refunded it without much hassle.

I bought sunflame 4 burner from HS18, and the quality is average. It's really very light and the knobs were loose and DELICATE

Anyone else have a problem with hs18.com not proceeding past the 'select shipping address' page? it just keeps looping and will not go on to the payment page.

I had this problem and found out that this was because they don't ship the product to my address :@.

You can only view this delivery constraints when you double click and open the product description from your Cart.

Try some other shipping address(other state etc.) and see if this is the issue you are facing.
