Depend on the case being used, for example my case has space for 10 fans and with modding that can be made to 12.

The option is there, not that I am using 12. 3-6 fans are enough.
Haha maybe wind tunnel testing to see if the CPU is aerodynamic and fast enough to take off.

I have a CM690 and currently have 6 120mm and 3 140mm fans. CM certainly didnt mean for so many fans to fit lol
FWIW, more fans spinning slowly > less fans spinning faster

I bought few fans and one RGB fan too, you can see the screw marks and I did try for 15~20min before dumping that fan in my secret (kabaad) shelf

Well I live in a glass house and shouldn't throw stones at others. My dust scenario is not hunky dory as well.

I seal up the openings on my PC once I shut it down. Helps a lot.

Same for my Asus CH6 x370 board as I was too lazy when I upgraded from a 1700 to a 3900X. The RGB wiring is a major pain.
