pH test is to check if acidic, neutral or alkalinePh test is for testing descaler is it ?
GoodIt's fine am not gonna use it , since Lizol seems to pull up more dirt than i expected...
Right it just dissolves hard water deposits but leaves out the stuff that lizol got outWith descaler i didn't see this at all.
You're going to have to scoop it out. Also particles didn't drain...am running rinse cycle again
Presuming your Godrej descaler works. Just add it in with the Lizol whenever you do a tub clean. No reaction at all
Yes I do , earlier it was too much, now in my current place feels lesser than earlier , soap froths better herePresuming your Godrej descaler works. Just add it in with the Lizol whenever you do a tub clean.
Do you live in a hard water area
You see scale around your washbasin and pots?
add 100gm of citric acid to the drawer.

I've never had any problems. It does not stay in contact with the tray for very long either. Once you add it and turn it on, it gets diluted and washes into the machine.Any idea why LG don't want us adding citric acid to the plastic drawer?

What is your update?@blr_p
I probably left some wet clothes in the machine and now the machine stinks badly , did a tub clean last month only what do you suggest to get rid of the smell ?
Have left the door open of machine from last 1 week but the smell wont die/
hey cleaned it today with lizol and 60% of the smell is gone but some is still there also did a tub clean before running a full cycle with lizolWhat is your update?
You understand what's happening here right?hey cleaned it today with lizol and 60% of the smell is gone but some is still there also did a tub clean before running a full cycle with lizol
should the lizol run be at some temp or normal water temp? That your machine started smelling just because you left the clothes wet in there just once means this problem was already building. And I'm not surprised because you do quick washes. You should do a tub clean monthly to maintain your machine. You can mix your Bosch descaler with Lizol. Once every three months and then the rest of the time just use Lizol.
40 degrees is good enough. After all Lizol is supposed to sanitise floors with tap temperature water. That is why Lizol is ideal for top loaders. Technically you don't have to heat the water but then you have to let it soak for an hour or two.should the lizol run be at some temp or normal water temp?
4 daysThat is, deliberately leave wet clothes in the machine for how many hours was it? Two hours, three hours or more
Hmm, that is bit too long.4 days
I don't follow?man the smell is bad and its worse now
