This is pre pandemic price of 1660 super.
I think 3050 offers slightly better performance than 1660 super. Also being newer the driver support will be longer. 3050 as of now sits at 30k I think.

If you can extend upto 30k, you might be able to get a 3060 in the coming days.
At 30k, it's better to buy a used 6600 xt. The card is not even a year old and it's the best card for 1080p gaming below 3060ti. I've seen people talk about ray tracing but what good is that on 3050/3060.

Now it won't go on snails pace as this mining died down.
Now rptech will again sell without any long ques.
You're right. I waited for an year. It was only few days ago I got the email. Without thinking twice I bought it and now I regret it. Total upgrade cost is going to cost me 35k and I'll get like 30 more fps from my current card. That more than a thousand rupees per fps. Lmao

That's a good point. I do want to keep the card for at least 3-5 years.

Right now I can't stretch my budget much. But I can wait for a couple of more months. Hopefully prices will cool down more and I may be able to afford 3060.

I don't think so, queue is going at snail's place since last month - it is still processing Feb 2021 list. Maybe new card launch will help ease up queue.

+1. Prices are falling a lot now. If it is urgent, you can get a 2060 for 26k.

I guess you can either get a card with better thermals for 2k more or a used 3060ti maybe 6 month old for 32k something i guess.
