I dont think it is the billing issue thingy... I have ordered from thinkgeek.com and my card is billed to my office address and I had put my residential address as shipping and billing address... They have something called card verification where they call and confirm card details and then charge and process the order... But my Bro in US did not get the call either (had given his contact number for delivery)...

They just randomly cancelled the order... Or may be that they do not want to ship it to me... apparently last when i spoke to them they said that order was ready they were jsut waiting for Credit Card verfication to happen and then they will process the order... but I (my bro) haa to wait for the call to come but they never called yet cancelled my order... I probvably will have to chat with them tonight... Let see...

I did not get any notice I just checked for order status online and it said order is cancelled...

card being billed to office is not an issue

Is your residential address which you used for shipping and billing address included in profile

means did you enter that address when you filled you CC application or got it updated later in your CC profile

^ I am not ordering... if someone wants to go ahead still shows 24 & 2 in stock

--- Updated Post - Automerged ---

Now only shows 32GB in stock that to only 2 left.

Man, I dont think even viagra was selling so fast when it was introduced. its like people are selling everything and buying just HP TP. :)

funny.. if you select the shipping method as DHL flight instead of fedex ground the price will reduce by $8..

btw.. i'm also not ordering.. once people start dumping on ebay.. this will be easily available for $200..

I request everyone to control the urge to get hold of HP TP, 1 week back , no one was even looking for any tablet, let alone HP TP, and now no one can wait to buy tablet, that too HP TP :P, its just that the craze is a bit too much right now, let the hype stabalize somewhat and then you can get one for sub 150 for 16 gig, its just have some patience. :) atleast that is what I am doing.

this is the problem i find with Komputers.com which is making me fishy about ordering or not.

They use HTTPS, i checked their certificate & its from some site called Digicert.com If you go there & check who uses Digicert.com

It lists many top notch companies including google... but if you go to https google.com you'll see its from some other Thwate CA or something cert.

--- Updated Post - Automerged ---

^ that list includes even Facebook & i know for sure that facebook has a verisign cert

--- Updated Post - Automerged ---

Who Uses DigiCert SSL Certificates?

Google Maps doesn't list the company SHA Matrix Inc. in the address give by them on their site.

So they are definitely fakers

@lida waiting for your response on above

I just spoke with Paypal regarding B&N Order they say it will take 30 days to reverse the pending charges from my account. :@ even though B&N cancelled the Order.

I really hate B&N now Lying S_B's

I have set price bars for myself for buying touchpad

these are never buy if cost + shipping + tax is more than 150 for 16 GB

never buy if cost + shipping + tax is more than 200 for 32 GB

Above this better option available if you include Indian shipping and duty

+1

Me too. The TP 16GB is not worth more than $150.

Better buy a NookColor or Viewsonic G tab around the $200 region. I used both and they both have plus and minuses but they are capable device with developers support. With G Tab you also use 3G by attaching the USB modem.

even, there are now good models from Ralianace, Bettel, and lot more good models available here, that too with built in 3G. So,it's worth to buy these.

Guys, at the below price is this a good purchase?

Subtotal: $150.00
Tax (8.875%): $13.31
Shipping ( DHL Flight): $14.00
Total: $177.31

note that again this needs to be shipped to INDIA and I guess it will be close to 200 USD.
