HP Touchpad for 100$ @ US online stores

Wow... 800 duty.. good going SnS.... I think the calculation must have been ( 100 * 46.5 * 1.21 * 0.14 =787 ) or something close to it....

I am wondering why the difference in weight?

@paarkhi I took the E7 as that was only one high end model he had, the other one was a 16GB iPhone 4 with turbo sim. BTW i also saw the BB 9900 pretty damn good piece.

I haven't paid anything for the E7, just took it for using till i can find which phone to buy next or buy another iPhone 4.
 
^Works out of the box, but you'll need to play around to tweak it and to OC it to 1.5 Ghz. And to upgrade to the latest WebOS of course.

With my Palm Pre Plus I needed to register for an account on HP's site etc. before I could do something on the phone...

that is the case with this one too, you can check the unboxing videos, some of those are nicely detailed!

Darn, so you need Wi-fi up and running? That means I would need to take it to my office or a coffee shop :(
 
I just got a cancellation email from The Launch Pad, I am guessing None of the small Stores ever had the touchpads they just did it to drive traffic on their websites.

I had to do the same with my pixi plus. I cooked cutom ROM and flashed it over Official. and got the Wi-Fi Option to register the device.
 
The deal for the 32 GB's went live at Sams club a few minutes ago. It apparently went live 4 hours back for 3 minutes too. Hmm.. Keep monitoring guys!
 
Any body else's shipment delayed due to the Hurricane?
UPS shows the status as "Exception"..
What are the odds of the product getting damaged in transit?
 
Guys, did anyone of you get your CC charge reversed? It's still not done for me for all 3 of my transactions - B&N, Dynamism and Asktp! Wondering if I should raise a dispute with the bank!

It`s only a payment hold. You are under no obligation to repay it.
 
I've cards from Citibank, ICICI and SBI. AFAIK of these three only SBI lets you view any pending charge, on other two the transaction is visible only when it is charged. I assume since Pat can see the transaction on his online account statement, I guess it's a charge not a payment hold.

I welcome to be corrected.
