Isn't motoQ something that is from stone age? it doesn't make sense to compare a decade old OS with current gen OS. You seriously need to check HD2 and other newer winmo devices with SenseUI. Atleast check the video that I posted in earlier post.
I have ipod touch (3rd gen) and now Apple's iphone OS is fast becoming old and boring. When compared to HD2, iphone 3G or 3GS gets blown away. I have also tried Maemo 5 on N900 and I felt that it is better than iphone OS in many ways.
And coming to benchmarks, some company sets the benchmarks which become stale and later that same company will be after another company's benchmark.
Guess its no use to argue, you can be Bill's lover while i can be a Mac Zealot.
___________
BTW, Dont you have an iPhone 3GS ? Comparing an mp3 player to a phone is sheer ignorance. Its like owning a HTC Touch 2 which also has the Sense ui & then coming up with statements like ''sense ui is slow and buggy , my nokia 6600 still kicks ass '' .
You gotta try both the phones (HD2) (phone 3Gs) side by side .
As far as im concerned Winmo & sense UI are boring ,stale & plain Jane looking .
And yes i was a regular visitor of XDA forums, the
illegal roms that they provide are more often than not, buggy & unstable.
Lets see how you feel after 2 years when your pals brag abut the new features in their winmo 7.5/8 device whereas you shall be stuck on your boring winmo 6.5 interface. Being an iphone user im assured that apple will always keep me upto date with their latest OS & feature ( like they have been ) & i wont feel left out at all.
Hmm, maemo the OS of the future , which has been ignored by all major mobile software developers & has no future regarding 3rd party apps at all ....... no ill pass that one . My Dad has a N770 or 700 whatever that is , after using it all i can say is that Maemo 3rd party app support is ZERO !!!
As far as touch interface & ease of use goes , no matter who does it, you cant beat the touch experience on an Apple device.
Not to mention iPhone resale is FANTASTIC as compared to the DISMAL resale of Windows mobile phones
