Just had a talk with dvdstoredelhi.

He has received some 20 nos of E122 in stock by going 30km himself to collect the courier from oustation place.So I guess all of the pending orders will be shipped out today itself....dunno hw many will be available for new orders....may be max 5-6 more...so keep hunting :p

Only 1 available nw as of in ebay here :p

What is the latest firmware for this modem (Huawei E122)? Is there any problems in updating the firmware?

Between, I got the firmware "E122Update_11.009.01.00.100.B416.exe". is it the recent one, can we update? please let me know.
Current Firmware Version : 11.005.00.04.21
Available Firmware Ver. : 11.009.01.00.100

If it works no need to update firmware....there is an E122 Owners thread....check that out for detailed instructions.

just received a mail today morning with the consignment details (DTDC). Appreciate your quick service. Now just waiting to get the stuff in my hands. Specially the USB modem to try for myself ... is it really worth the hype.

Anyone checked VPN connectivity thru Tata Docomo 3G? I am not able to connect, need to get BSNL 3G SIM and try that.

Today I received the modem in noon.. Speed is good :) working properly. worked out of the box in my Ubuntu 10.10 box. Using aircel 2g GPRS (Rs.98/month), giving a download speed of 23KBPS..

Tried to use TATADOCOMO 3g, but didn't work.. my be some settings were wrong..

I got mine yesterday.configured and connected .working fine.
