IMEI stored in memory not hard coded chip. Any mobiles nokia, LG, sammy imei can be changed without much fuss. So chill out guys if you phone network is blocked change the number and try. This is not the end of sci phone
 
I M game for a genuine SciPhone i68+ at 4900 ( provided this imei issue is clarified}- ebay ?- one does not know what on is getting there !!!

1st May - Fake phone doomsday avoided :P
Have a perfectly functional SciPhone by my side.
Working flawlessly since the last couple of months !
Have sourced around 14units till date for friends.
And the HK dealer now offers a 1gb card in the package.

People skeptical about the IMEI issue can now let me know if they are interested !
 
i dunno abt nythin else but i have a sciphone and it has the usual iphone kinda look can rotate the pics all these not that perfect but iwont complain as it has dual sim and igot it for 4.6k i will post the pics later

It's build quality is brilliant.
Because of it's form factor (pure touchscreen / no moving parts / no buttons !), there's no way you can break it easily !
Mine's fallen thrice, got a small dent on the back when it hit a stone on the road. A few fellow TEites have seen the dent :P

Does anyone has info on ebay india sciphone? Are those the same model we are discussing ?? That might be a very good deal when added coupons, and seller also gived 2 gb card with the phone.

i think there is no point buying from ebay i bet u end up spending more even after using the coupons the phone i bought is without any sort of bargaining and if i bargain m sure 1 can get very gud rates
 
^ thx for the link, already browsing it since few hours . S18 seems good and the UI is quite good compared to Iphone UI ( buggy on i68 from what i read ). Still waiting for rajshah's reply, need to buy one of these for someone :)

Edit: buying s18 from ebay costs 5300 with shipping ( 300 bucks ) , adding 500 rupees off then we can get it for 4800 shipped. Not to mention 12 month dealer warranty too ( seller is a power dealer ). Free shipping to vadodara though. Also they have 3 month/6 month 0% EMI for ICICI cards ;)

perhaps one to get ! i certainly shall look forward to one with Wi-fi- should be in Indian Market in 1 month, considering how how fast the chinese mfrs are to the market.
 
Think of devil !!- I think the time to market for ew products is going down every day- the Dream G2 Wi-fi is on ebay Just check the features.Does not seem to have dual sims though !
