IC/GO: SciPhone i68+ - iPhone lookalike Dual Sim Phone : 4900/-

Yes i did check that story but its to curtail use of phones without IMEI numbers. This phone i suppose has a genuine IMEI number.
 
Today's ToI states its also due to build quality and other issues with cellphones manufactured in china. Hope they legalize it again.
 
Build quality is surely questionable. Otherwise how would they sell this stuff for so less. Its not just that Nokia/Sony are branded and take the brand cost but it is also their build quality is good.
Surely Chinese phones suck :ohyeah::ohyeah:
But at less than 3k (for me atleast), this seems to be an irresistible deal :ohyeah::ohyeah:
Bottomline is that anyone planning to buy / already bought this phone should NOT expect it to do wonders and work till eternity. Its just that this particular phone is a very good clone of the iphone and also it has dedicated forum where you can get answers to your questions and also its firmware is being upgraded quiet frequently (but we need to pay for that :@) which all are trying to get to the level experience of a real iphone.
