If ur smart enuf u will tally the specifications with the original site....it doesn have a 3.0 screen ,its 2.8..its not real android just a look alike...android doesn have on screen keyboard yet...cupcake hasnt been released yet...and it doesn have a real 4 mp cam its 2.0 .....so its not worth 9k...its worth ...4k max...ands u can get it cheaper in china.

Guys here is a low down on this sciphone.
First yes this sciphone is really good, i mean a really good clone. Dont expect iphone from it but it does the job. NO I am not saying this personally but having read lots of reviews and also videos.
Yes the latest one is the sciphone i68+ 3G which has a 6 page menu.. It has a 3.5mm connector and the ability to connect original ipod accessories. 3G in the name does not mean it will accept 3G cards Its just the name given. This phone will be available from next month. One more thing, this 3G one has a non-removable battery and non-removable memory and would be supposedly coming in 1,2,4,8 GB versions.
Now if anyone is planning to buy this or any other sciphone then beware..dont go thru ebay route as most of them are fakes. Yes, this sciphone has become so popular that its fakes are available. If you guys wanna buy directly then buy from scoPhone.com Cell Phone, Electronic, DVD Wholesale

Now where do these sciphones come from ? They come from the electronics capital of China, a city called Shenzhen which is like 2 hrs by flight from Shanghai here. Through the above website i got the number of a contact there which looks after selling of the phones for China region.
Now most of the above listed websites sell the phone for 100$ or more which comes out to be little less than 5000 rupees so any of the above option is good. All these websites accept the currency as dollars only
But yesterday i had contacted this person in Shenzhen and told them that i am in Shanghai so how can i buy the phone by paying them and specifically in local currency (RMB). They told me that i can get the phone for 450 RMB shipped to my place here in Shanghai. That is less than 3200 rupees (as per current rates).
PS: All the above information is based on my experience of finding the genuine iphone clone here in Shanghai where fakes are being sold on roads

hey buddy, i am not returning to India anytime soon..it will be mostly after october this year. Any getting this phone couriered will be something that will cost even more. I may not buy it now and also it will not be for me but for my bro. I am interested in the N12 that they are going to release next month. It is a a windows mobile / android based phone. These two OSes are given as a choice. You may select any one. But yes i will put in as much info as i get it
So here some update from my side. I had posted a query on the official sciphone forums asking if there is any genuine dealer in Shanghai. I got response from a person who belonged to the twift.com website (i mentioned above). They have a logistic center in Shanghai and i can get the phone from them at $90 shipped to my Shanghai address. Nevertheless $90 is like 1k rupees more that what the scophone website is offering me for directly purchasing from them.
Just a heads up for guys interested in buying the sciphone phone i68+ with 3.0 firmware (3 page) directly from the website scophone.com, the price has been reduced to 75$ (approx 3.6k) BEFORE shipping.
