ICS comming to SGS-2 on 15th march 2012

I have installed the EU version of the ROM and all the apps remain.. No need to reinstall them as these are the original Samsung ROMs and you'll have all your apps and settings in tact..

will this void my warranty,,

As its mentioned that, after installing this firmware, we wont be able to connect to samsung kies...

and about your query,flashing any firmware even if stock firmware will result in voiding warranty!!

its a risk to take and wont get updates via Kies.

the good part is the world of mods and flexibility!

following procedures and using proper Roms or firmware will not result in bricking!!

Im presently on CheckRom HD and its not ICS rom yet!!but the customization of the Rom is too good to miss ICS!!

Is there any rom available for s2,which makes it as smooth as apple iphone..

As. my s2 is very jurky...its more powerfull than iphone. so should be better..but its not as smooth as iphone..

What should i do..while playing games and apps its smooth.but it has a jurky ui..
 
Will it void my warranty..as i dont want to do that..

Also,is it ics or gingerbread..

Plz suggest me some good smooth ics firmware..
 
Any modding as in flashing or rooting will void the warranty.and therefore the above steps will do the same..

you are always free to re-flash back to the original and thus regain your warranty!!

The CheckRom HD is currently based on GB and the ICS is being worked as bugs are being fixed!!but u can use the ICS theme which gives a real feel of ICS.

once they are out with the ICS rom,you can update!!

if you require only ICS ROM then i would suggest the CyanogenMod 9.

I think the official indian firmware is available on kies from samsung..

As, it got updated, and says can't upgrade coz of custom firmware..

Plz help me how to revert back to original firmware...

But . Installing by this method also will not allow me to update via kies..

Its mentioned in the link page..

So. Kindly help me toupdate via kies..

Now the kies is connecting but not updating my device...
 
Just posting to keep this thread alive, so that..... i can hear good news for ics release in india...

Any news on ics india gt-i9100 guys.............
