Something screwed up... Majorly... I had couriered Kidoman's Opteron 146 via professional couriers on friday... The courier guy came came to my office..Checked the stuff... Packed him himself and took it... The courier was supposed to reach Buuvneshwar on Saturday but it didnt...

Saturday passsed, Sunday passed And upon not reaching on monday afternoon the kidoman called me up and i called up the courier company... They assured me it will reach late evening on monday... Upon not reaching on Monday kidoman aka karan went to courier guys office and saw the package lying there...

Now comes the twist... Upon opening the package he found out that the Proccy from the box is missing... Yes it was missing and everything else is there... Kidoman told me that the interiors of the box were also broken and ofcourse the seal of the box is also broken...

I am screwed guys... What should i do... I am planning to register a FIR and lodge a theft case against professional couriers in consumer court... Is there anything else i can do...

Damn you had to use professional !! Too bad man. Go to their office, threaten to sue them and tell them you will be going for police action. Ask kido not to screw arnd with that package and take some pics etc as evidence.
 
that sucks.....but i know one thing man theres karma wat goes around comes around......so whoevers screwed up will get it some way or the other.....
 
shit man.. thats sad to hear.. give them a threat that u wud go to police.. ususally that brings them back on track.. and whatever u do, do it fast.. do it today or tomorrow.. dont waste any more time..
 
This is really sad. Threaten them first and ask them to return it and if nothing happens, then go to the police and also notify one of these news channels such as Aaj Tak or NDTV. That always helps in nabbing the culprits quickly. If the media jumps in, police has to work, else your FIR will be dumped in some corner of the police station.
 
Man, thats bad!!! I too suggest threatening them first.And once they return the opty, then make a police complain!
And if the big channels like aaj tak are not interested, try some local tabloids.

Well... This is what i am doing...

Kidoman aka Karan has already got a letter signed by them that the contents of the package are missing and it has reached in tampered condition...

This is what i am doing.. I have asked the guy to come to my place... He will be coming in sometime now... I am first getting a letter by him that he had checked and verified the contents of the package and the value of the package is worth Rs. 10000+...

Then As soon as the letter is there in my hands i am calling up the courier company back and threating them... Lodgeing an FIR... And at the same time my two good friends are lawyers so fileing a Consumer case against the Company and a Criminal case against the Directors of the compnay by which bailable warrents will intantly be issued... I wont have to pay legal fees or court charges as both my friends have promised that they will take it up from there...

Is there anything else i should do...

And its not only about these couriers. Plenty of others need some whip in the @$$ for openly screwing with the customers.
Damaging products, missing prodcts, missing parcels. When is this gona end?

Chaos is very right contact the media and press people quickly let everyone know about this.
 
Well... I will threaten them with media first... I have a pretty good contact with India TV(The sting operation channel ;) )

man, this is not fair, not fair at all........... now my mum is standing outside my door (which i locked bcoz i am in such depressed mood) sayin "what happened?" she lied to my dad and lent me 8500/- so i could get that golden stepping. i went to all height (selling my 3000+ for Rs 5200/-) to ensure i got it, and now this happens. I know its not switch's fault nor mine, but yaar, why Professional courier. i ****ed up by not insisting some trustworthy courier.

all of my courier parts were shipped from Rashi (Delhi) to Bhubaneswar, but nothing of this sort happened. I am talking of over Rs 80000/- in parts, reaching w/o a glitch.

AND THIS SHIT happens.......... now even Raghu has transferred the money to me for my 3000+ and in Bhubaneswar, they dont have a single 939 pin CPU so i am ****ed....... bad.

Who ever did this will be punished. For what man? 2000 bux? 10000 bux? 8000 bux? Why screw with ppl like this. Thank god i thought of opening the packet (cheap newspaper packaging) to check the contents. If i hadnt checked it and had gone home (20 kms away) I would hv given out by seeing the missing CPU.

Please someone help me. Can any one arrange a good CPU for me? I am desparate.

@Switch: Thnx for sending the money back yaar. Otherwise my mum will loose her trust on me.

First thing... I have got letters from both of them... noida brach saying that content were there and it was sealed and was packed by courier guy himself and then shipped....

Secondly from Bhuvneshwar that the parcel arrived in open condition with proccy missing...

Also i have threatened the courier guy enough and told him abt my law background and he was scared to hell... He has beeged me not to register a case and has asked me a time till tomorrow afternoon...

I have given him time till tomorrow 3:00 after that i have told him i will be fileing case against him both consumer and criminal and also i will be lodgeing the FIR...

Lets hope for the best now :)...

Karan Remove the account details from the forum and PM them to me... Not good to post details here in open... Also i am very sorry man but i dont know what to say to you... Sorry for chooseing Professional...

please get the CPu man. i beg for gods sake. i am desparate. u knw, it does not feel good when something like this happens. since 3 days i hv been jumping around everytime the door bell rang. finally i managed to get the Bhubaneswar branch number (wrong number listed in site) and guess what? sir "our boys hv gone out" we can only deliver tomo. so i say - "can i pick it up?"
he goes "sure" and cuts the phone.

i go there all pumped up and somehow i feel something wrong. u know, like sixth sense. i am walking back to the bike while just peeling the loose newpaper covering and bam, the seal is open. i open the box, and the green cardboard placebo falls apart. it has been badly torn into pieces. the HSF is there and the CPU is missing. **** it man...........

PS: mods i knw i am not supposed to swear, but believe me, if u would hv been at the recieving end of this shit, u would be swearing too......

@Switch: man, if u can get the proccy back (somehow) pls ship it to me using some good courier (use pafex or bluedart) i dont care. i will pay u the shipping cost. if not then transfer the money...... thxn for understanding.

i called a friend over from accross town to come with a digital camera so i could take snaps of the mess tht was in the box. i will post it soon.
