CPU/Mobo In search of a decent Z77 Board

Finally got the board some time ago. Phew! Finally the hunt ends :)

A few pics,









Initial Observations :

  • Build quality sadly is still the same, feels flimsy. Maybe ROG boards have better build quality. (Flimsy with respect to Asus previous boards, doesn't mean its bad.)
  • Still find Gigabyte boards to have better build quality.
  • Package is decent. Neither great nor bad. In my opinion, when a motherboard has 8 SATA ports, I am sure it doesn't hurt to provide 8 SATA Cables.
About to transfer this into the PC along with the SSD. Further observations after installation.

congratz no further comments its your money afterall b/w you may require a better cpu than your signature one to fully utilize it

Old setup, Mighty but power hungry ;)
Time for Arrow to do duty on the Core i5 now.



All cleaned up and ready to be tucked away.



Mounted on new platform :)
Still getting to know this new platform. Temperatures are pretty good, hovering around 36C or so.
