Draw!!! the pitch is turning. and will turn more on 4th and 5th days. If Sri Lanka take a lead of 250-275, India will have to bat for 5+ sessions against Murali and Herath to save the match.
 
They look like taking a lead of 250 by lunch. The pitch is turning, but slow turn. Murali Will be a handful. India can draw it only if they play very well.
 
OMG. They might look to bat till tea with a lead of around 425. If that happens, India will have to play well to avoid innings defeat. Murali on day 5 is not easy.

This is Jayawardene's 6th double ton. He shares this with Sangakkara, Atapattu(really?) and Miandad. Only Hammond, Bradman and Lara have more double centuries.

If he scores another 30 runs, Jayawardene will join Sehwag, Sir Don Bradman and Brian Lara to become only the 4th batsman in the history of Test cricket to score two triple centuries.

I hope Sachin joins the party and gets his 43rd ton. He needs this ton to pull himself slightly away from Ponting.

Btw the pitch has become a slow turner and its not as easy.

Yes, brilliant batting performance by both of them. At least what started off as a dismal performance by India ended pretty well. :)
