We pushed for frequency with the E8400. We did not with the quad because it was going to NashX (we tried max 4G at 1.52V on a TRUE.)

i was referring to LN2 when I said that its cheaper than dice (rs30/ltr vs rs45/kg), i am talking about what the chemical actually costs, not the total cost involved in storing/transporting LN2.

and yeah as i dont understand much of overclockin and stuff ..specially when it comes to DICE \LN2 etc ..as i only have a idea of what oc'in is..and have never seen it ..due to me using a 4-5 yr old P4. lolzz

Q6600 on DICE (w/ 1.65Vcore) - 480 x 9 : I remember Ad1tya brutalizing his Q6600 on water on his 24x7 rig. surely you are fsb limited m8. push more.

Today, the fun continued @ my place...in the room me & my daughters use to play, our respected games
I kinda moved their toys to a conner & chilled the room as much as I could.
The ambient around the setup looks fine...lets C how much it is in the empty pot without the Extremes
As the temps were fine, we started to test the Xfire with some new drivers but it still didn't work
CCC reads the 4 cores of the two X2s but there's no option to enable the Cross Fire.
Also, a 65nm quad, even when underclocked, is superhot. We had to soon DICE it up & remove the other card & get on with our 3DM06.
Remember, what was achieved today was on a Single X2 with a 65nm Quad with LOCKED multiplier on DICE.
Wish we had the LN2 today as the 65nm quad used up more DICE in a single 3DM06 run than the amount used by my 45nm E8400, for un-number of 3DM01-05-06 runs, whole of yesterday. But I wish more that we had a single CPU with unlocked multipliers & the Xfire drivers worked.
Thats it 4m me today, more later but I need to quote something I said , here as well.

Dice slush, prepared by me (we were actually holding the small & big chunks with bare hand but I don't think it's advisible and so not pics of that) :
