CPU/Mobo Intel Sandy Bridge Processors/Mobo prices/availability

Actually the issue is with the SATA 3 GBps ports present on the Intel chip in the M/Bs..they may wear down over a period of 2-3 yrs causing data errors eventually according to Intel...this would be the case with 5% of the M/Bs. So not much of a deal if u are using the 6 GBps SATA ports(usually 2) present on most good boards which would have no issues as per Intel. Or at a later stage one can go for a PCIe SATA controller..so if u have a decent board n just one HDD and DVD RW drive then one can choose to stick to it rather than go for a replacement n wait till March/April for the new boards to eventually reach India.
