I think this could be good for those who want a managed service, as long as it is fairly priced (below Rs. 250).
They have mentioned their price is Rs. 199/month for the first 3 months, but what about after?

For those who can self-host and have a Jio sim, you can look into these: https://github.com/JioTV-Go/jiotv_go / https://github.com/JioTV-Go/jiotv_go_app

As for players, TiviMate is better for TVs, while iMPlayer is good for phones and those who like to record / playback stuff.
No need to purchase premium for both unless required.
This Jiotv go thing. The 2 URLs posted are both to be used? Seems like first one is to setup server and 2nd is the client app to consume the server?
Am I right?

If so, can I make the server on my raspberry pi and then use it's Playlist URL using url of my Rpi4 in the app to access?

I have it installed dockerized on a separate minipc at my home which then streams it to all my devices.

I don't know what two URLs you're talking about?
Can you paste them here?

If I were to guess, I think the ones you're talking about would be the playlist URL and the other for the EPG.
If so, then the playlist one is mandatory, while EPG is optional.
Playlist url gives you the channel data and the EPG gives you the program guides.
