He is a lot older and I can understand someone paying money for convenience, especially if they have money to spend.
And he is definitely trying to change but needed someone to coax him into the confidence and help him make that change. Managing a library of 2.4 lakh songs and numerous playlists is a tough job and transferring that to a new ecosystem is even tougher.
 
I get all that, but managing 6 phones just for music would be even more cumbersome right? Not about the cost/money itself.
 
How is that new iPhone SE? My mom loves the iPhone only because of its size. And she's really used to the iOS now. Her current phone is the 5S I think. Time to ditch it and get a new one yeah? I actually liked the old SE after all the price cut I think it was selling online for 18k before it was discontinued but her phone was still in good condition then so didn't buy.
It's just sad that Android has little to no options in smaller display size to compete with the iPhones.
 
There's the s10e kind of, but again too expensive for my tastes. Plus it's a Samsung...
 
Besides iPhone SE is not a small phone especially considering that it has a 4.7 inch display. If you really want a compact phone for mum or old people like that always better to get a phone with bigger display. If budget isn't an issue then may consider the iPhone 12 Mini.

Imagine this, her current phone is 4.0" and mine is a 5.2" and she finds even this large. The closest which comes to her option is the SE 4.7".
The iPhone 12 Mini is 5.4" (there is no 11 Mini) and the S10e is 5.8".
Also she doesn't have vision issues so she can use the 5S just fine.

The 12 Mini is smaller than the SE though in terms of dimension. Makes no sense to go by the screen size. But then price-wise, SE is the best deal at the moment.

Ah I see what you mean. It was the damn bezel!
But man the SE 2020 size is very noticeable. Will keep both options in mind. If can't get any, will look for a used SE.

Yes, it is the ones listed on Apple's website for 14900 and sold for 12-13k on other websites. If you can sell it off for even 10k, it should be good enough. Also Apple will likely have some bank discount tomorrow, presently it is 6% cashback on HDFC up to 10k.

In short, it is not worth buying any iPhone on Amazon this season. Flipkart or Apple depending on what you want to buy.

If somebody doesn’t want AirPods, it’s a good deal to buy from Amazon. The net price after HDFC instant discount would come to ~46k.
