First and foremost: the thread is not against you or to instigate you. Something has gone wrong with the deal and solution has to be provided for the same.
Point 1: Yes u have been in touch, check the first post itself, that with dates and time I have attached details about the conversation we had.
Point 2: Yeah I am, especially when you don’t relent that the phone has home button issue and above on that you say to me I should not again n again say to you that my brother`s money is involved in the same and he is literally saddened by the purchase. Above on that when u question my knowledge our categorically specify my inability to restore iphone myself by citing that I shouldn’t hve bot an iphone without having intricate knowledge of all the workarounds involved.
Point 3: I apologized in next 5 mins to you (I also mentioned in the first post itself, that I did get loud on you, then u cut my call, then u asked me to relax, u said u`ll help, then I apologized)
Point 4: Please get out of the impression that anyone can dump anything on someone else utilizing any platform available. It’s just a matter of finding someone who thinks one step ahead of u.
Now on clarifications part:
1: that is what you claim, and might be rightly so. But just tell me how come then the home button issue just appears the very same day you sold the phone. If you want I can videograph the person who was attaching gevey at Vashi`s (navi Mumbai) impression shop who will confirm how hard it was getting to cut call and go to settings with the home button not responding after dialing 112.
2: The buyer was not just inspecting the phone for 1 hour. He was also trying to fit in another GEVEY sim purchased from the shop he knew (and where you both were at that time), wherein the Gevey sim kept on failing, and my cousing taking cognizance of your effort to catch a flight at that very moment let you go. Don’t just say he kept on checking the phone for 1 hour etc ..
3: if you don’t remember when I approached you, check the first post. Yes I did my own research for the same wherein we both came to consensus that may be should get it first checked via restoration and confirm if it can help. BUT also at the same time I did tell u we don’t know about the process and would not like to brick the phone in the same process. You suggested to do it from the shopkeeper we knew.
I then called my cousin to ask if the shopkeeper will do that, he said he will but he will charge, I then again decided y should we fiddle with the sellers phone which again will give the seller an edge if something more goes wrong wherein he can claim, aapne bahar se kyon karwaya.. now the fault lies on you and u deal with it. This is where it was decided by me and then requested to seller to get the restoration done by himself.
Point 4: my brother met you yesterday night.. and i regard that well that you painstakingly drove for 2hrs to get things sorted.
so then my brother was supposed to give you the phone. what did he simply ask you ? sir can i have ur address !!
you declined ! now if someone has their monies stuck onto you and again you are also taking the phone along with yourself, dont you think you should atleast give the address to that person.
one more thing, you mentioned to my brother that you are again supppose to go out of mumbai today and will be back after 2-3 days, so should he just give u the phone, the money, the trust and wait for you to return back to mumbai, with us having no details about your whereabouts ?
you then told him 500 rakho aur aap karwalo, i`ll help return aaneke baad... he being as dumb as he can be, accepted 500 bucks and called me after reaching home.
i told him not to get it done from outside..
refund is the solution i believe
I am requesting you to do only 1 thing now:
Please Refund !
its quite wierd to know that now Dear Guptaji says we had not talked about any testing warranty, hence he dint provide and is now scotfree to ignore
our concerns. let me make u remember Dear Guptaji, on the very first call very apprehensively and excitedly i asked you to confirm if the phone is defect free and
also told you sir please 2-3 din (days) ka testing warranty dena which you said you were ok with
why dont you also tell the thread viewing Junta how you changed the price of your deal: you once mentioned that in the thread above that you wanted to sell iphone 4 lastly for 22900, then i put in my best offer for 22500.. you called me then and said, dinesh abhi i am gettin an offer of 24k alone for iphone 4, aapko main sirf isliye bechna chahta hoon kyonki aap mumbai main ho toh .. par aapko jyada pay karna hoga.. I then request you to 24k main accha deal karo.. u relent to give the case now with the phone and the purchase is made.
aapne price girayi... fir badhayi.. u also told me that now you can open another thread and can sell at higher value.. etc

I was not aware of such a thread being created against me.

Before I explain/clarify myself:
1. I have been in touch with Dinesh constantly over the past week and have been nothing but co-operative with him.
2. Dinesh is short-tempered and has issues listening to the other person's point of view! There have been major communication gaps with him because of this.
3. The way Dinesh has been communicating and the way he has presented himself in this thread are totally different.
4. If I wanted to dump a faulty phone on someone I would never choose THIS forum. I could’ve easily sold it off to someone else via a different medium. I have nothing to gain by risking my reputation on these forums; I’ve been on TE long enough to know that.

Couple of quick clarifications:
1. There was no issue with the iPhone before it was sold to the buyer.
2. The buyer satisfactorily inspected the iPhone for almost an hour along with two other guys, one of whom was a shopkeeper experienced in dealing with iPhones
3. Dinesh apprised me of the issue last Friday or Saturday. I requested him to give me sometime to get back to him since I was not in Mumbai. We spoke again and he suggested, based on his online research, that we do a restore as the phone was perfectly fine otherwise. I agreed
4. It was agreed that the seller will try to get the phone restored by someone who knows how to restore/upgrade an iphone over the weekend (as I was not around). The buyer came back to me later on Sunday evening or Monday morning (not sure when exactly it was) and mentioned that he could not get the phone restored as the shopkeeper wanted to charge him for the restore. He insisted that I do the restore, to which I reluctantly agreed only b’cos I would have not been able to do it immediately, but I never said that I would not do it.
5. After communicating with Dinesh and the buyer, I met the buyer yesterday night to pick up the phone from him (after a grueling two hour drive). I requested him to meet me the next day morning, use the phone for a day and give me his feedback. The buyer then expressed concern that he had already paid the money and did not trust me enough to give the phone back to me as well. This is when I suggested that he takes the phone to 3rd party, and get it restored under his supervision, at my expense. I still asked him to call me back with his feedback the next day.

I did not know about the existence of this until ChiragThakur called me up and updated me of the situation about an hour back.
*
I’ve done nothing wrong and request everyone else on TE to not make accusations without really knowing what has happened.
