I read in the mid-day some two days ago that Tata plans to sell the Nano only to people who don't have a car. Anyone read about this?

Firstly, I don't know how they will determine who does and who does not own a car. But a nice spin they're giving to their marketing campaign...trying to act concerned at the impact their car would have to the environment.

Another way of viewing this is that 1st time owners would not know much about cars and therefore would not be in a position to comment on shortcomings or give bad press about the car.
