Is USA on the edge of an economic crisis?

... but of the many experiences I have read about people in the EU countries, I would be glad to pay a higher level of taxes to not worry about a small mishap tomorrow which might bring me and my family on the road.

I was just about to post this. For the amount of services an avg EU country govt provide, I'd gladly pay 35-40% tax if India had the same in effect with similar efficacy. I'm not just talking about Healthcare or Education, I'm talking about everything the givt does.

@sabby True that. Most of the scandanavian nations are at a different level when it comes to the amount of services provided to it's citizens.

Nordic countries provide a tonne of services to their citizens... would gladly pay the taxes in return for that.
