I fear they have. I've mailed customer care, let's see what the say.

How much Data can you download in the 2AM-5AM slot? What is Max possible?
I download 18-40 GB but looks like this privilege will be gone shortly. still no clarity if night unlimited will be available for non-prime user since they already confirmed that it will not be available for prime users.

Their "See all plans" link is only showing the top-ups pdf. Guess they're rewriting their plans again :-/

Things i got to know & are official:

- No Free 2-5AM data. https://www.jio.com/support/en-in/f...t-data-be-available-to-jio-prime-members.html
- If you do not do minimum recharge of 149 every month, your Jio Prime offer will be deactivated https://www.jio.com/support/en-in/f...-end-if-stop-recharging-after-few-months.html
- Only 1 device allowed for tethering.
- No postpaid service as of now.
- No recharge for 90 days, forget your number. https://www.jio.com/support/en-in/faq/jio-prime/what-if-i-do-not-recharge-monthly.html

Ask Mota Bhai. You enjoyed FREE services for 6 months, Now he wants you to spend every month without FAIL.

Nothing in this world is FREE, Not even WATER, Not even Pure Air.. Even its costly.. You have to buy an Air purifier :p

Right now, we have Idea as our primary number and Jio as a secondary number. The QoS near my residence is pretty bad for Jio. Until that is resolved, I have no intention of porting our primary numbers to Jio.
Since that is the case, I most likely will not go fro Prime on numbers which I may not continue with.
I am pretty certain that Jio will not close the door on future potential number porting clients by not offering Prime or its future avatar after April 1, 2017.

That's why I like the 999 prime plan too, not bullshit of "per day" quota (with no carryover), you can use the 60 GB data any time during the month. Scenario (in my case) is where you are working during the weekdays and not much home usage, but more usage/downloads during the weekends.

I just read this somewhere that for those who use Jio apps, a daily quota of 1gb/2gb makes complete sense.

Jio Prime Fine print: No unlimited night data, one device per hotspot
Jio has silently withdrawing certain benefits which every Jio customer enjoyed. Jio hasn't actually publicized openly about the benefits withdraw, but they have placed them in FAQ section of the website

Unlimited night data offering is withdrawn from Jio Prime members

Since we are providing disproportionate amount of data throughout the day, there is no differentiation in day or night. This is hugely beneficial for the customer, as the customer can now enjoy the benefit of unlimited data during any hour of the day, and does not necessarily have to wait for night time.Unlimited night data offering is withdrawn to Jio Prime members.

Your Jio Prime membership ends if you fail to recharge your number with at least Rs 149
Jio Prime customers need to recharge with a minimum of Rs. 149 per month. In case there is no recharge of minimum Rs. 149 per month, the Company holds the right to deactivate the Jio Prime subscription of the customer.

Only one device can be connected via hotspot or tethering

They hold the right but I don't believe they'll do it. Instead, their customer care agents will call the customer to remind them to recharge like it happens for my Videocon D2H. They will not want to lose customers.

So non-prime users will still be able to use the 2am-5am unlimited offer whereas prime users not? Does someone know this for sure?

The other day i was speaking to my friend about this and even he questioned what could be the Time frame if you don't recharge with a 149 minimum and offer gets deactivated..

3 days or a week? Well, these kind of T&C doesn't work in a country like India. Good luck Jio!
