Just Hacked My PS3 :D

Hey Guys ,

Just jailbroke my PS3 with the help of my N900. Hit me up with any questions you might have. Took a video too and am uploading it as i type. This is just to backup my own games as I hate having to swap disks :P No piracy of course. If i find it becoming too restrictive (no future custom firmwares etc) , i'll just do a clean wipe of the PS3 and install 3.42.

Backing up Brutal Legend right now :)

i was thinking of borrowing my frnds n900...

few qns.

1. does the phone have to be attached to the ps3 as long as its on

2. backup speed?

3. can u create ur own steps.. :)
 
The phone can be removed but you need to do the jailbreak everytime.

Backup speed is ok i guess. I just backed up Brutal Legend in under 10 minutes. Playing it right now with inFamous disk inside the ps3 :P (Gannu plz take note :D )

Can u create your own steps as in ? You want me to post step by step instructions ? I can make a sticky i guess with total noob proof steps.

Congrats on the first successful hack of the PS3 on TE - wonder if anyone did it in the IVG? Could be a first time for any Indian perhaps lol.

And yeah please put up a n00b-friendly guide on the Guides section. :)
 
tomorrow i'll check with one of the modder who himself has made a ATB Stick and he can run all games.I'm going to him to get 360 modded,

Haha...and the best part is sthn that i can't state over here... but suffice it to say that it costs me practically nothing to get these games ^.^ << gannu ur aware of it lol GD >>

Nah man! Honestly I don't want to hack mine as yet. I am wondering when Sony wants you to upgrade to a newer firmware for a new game launched, what could probably be done. :)

Yup... will be writing it in a bit. It is my birthday today so i've been busy fielding phone calls n all... Gimme some time. I've taken a video as well. Will upload all files etc and will make it as easy as possible.

There is a new dongle coming out soon which will sell for $7. I'm waiting for that and will buy it...
