JVC is better by leaps and bounds.. JBLs are really good for people looking for portability not that the SQ is bad, its really good if someone has not heard the JVC before

Yup ! And they are darn uncomfortable to boot. Generally they are not very nice headphones.

Hey how does the JVC HA-RX900 fare for gaming? Does any one know how it compares to an Audio Technica AD700 with respect to gaming?

Have played using JVC900, pretty much satisfied with them. Cant compare as I havent heard AD700 while gaming.

IMO, RX700 are better for gaming as per many reviews compared to RX900. No idea about AD700.

how's the bass response of the rx900. Are they bass heavy.

I am no audiophile, but yes I wanted something that is capable of deep bass and the RX900 has successfully achieved that.
