i am downloading the full iso from the green demon rite now..would be my first leopard installation...the 10.4.10 kalyway worked great for me!

I installed the iAtkos build, which worked fine on my pc but i could not change the refresh rate. Ive a crt monitor and the screen flickering is annoying.

Tried leo4all, getting lots of errors. Currently downloading kalway.

I managed to install it successfully, got the intro Video & then it comes to a screen where it asks for a .MAC ID. I click continue to the first screen & it takes me to the New ID registeration screen.

Here I fill up the required fields, but in the phone it gives me error that phone sh'd be 10 Digits while it only allows digits to be typed.

Can u guyz pls help me tackle this ??

Was really eager to try it the other day..

So,
Downloaded -> burned on DVD.

But the Darwin Bootloader in beginning always came up with some errors and it won't proceed to the actual GUI setup.
Found on x86 wiki page that my motherboard only works with a modded bios.
So took the risk, flashed my bios; changed some bios settings.

But it won't work..
Damn i was completely pi$$ed

After going through a lot of posts on "InsanelyMac" figured out that my motherboard only works with Sata devices.

Lost patience, eventually gave up.

everything worked out of the box with my DG31PR/8600gt/q6600
dual boot with vista bootloader and EasyBCD
the simplest and best way to run leopard IMO

I successfully installed & started off Kalway 10.5.2.
I was not selecting the proper country at the welcome screen, chose India, filled in the valid fields & bingo!!

First time seeing & feeling a MAC, man it blows VISTA's a-s-s off in the gui fluency & look & feel.

I tried billion times to install Mac on my PC but failed to sucessfully install it.
I tried Kalyway 10.5.2 and iAtkos 2.0i but still couldnt get it working.
My PC config:
E8400
aBit IP35e
2GB RAM
Auzentech Xplosion
320GB SATA HDD
Samsung SATA DVD RW

Any suggestions....?

The word "failed" needs proper details to be listed as to what is the error, when exactly does it occur. Does the install process complete ? does it hang on first boot or what ??

I have the same config as u, except the sound card. But the onboard one works with Apple HDApatch. Auzen won't work in MAC. Infact Ip35-E is one of the most supported boards around. And u din't mention ur GFX card ???

U need to be patient & try again after reading resources. The community support has rapdiley trippled past year or so I must say, just dwell into ur perticular hardware.
