Apart from this, I also got my hands on DJ Shah's new Album called Songbook. Its got some awesome tunes but the second CD is full of acoustic tunes of the same songs as in CD 1. Its decent enough.

Still hoping that I somehow get my hands on the latest ASOT's and TATWs. I hear Trance is finally getting back to what it was a few years back when it was awesome. Then came the dip in the quality of tunes. Now its back upto the great old trance :ohyeah:

AFAIK trance is not getting anywhere currently. The big artists are producing albums to please audiences (read pop trance lovers) and the real trance tunes are produced by artists unheard of and most prolly will never be heard on the big stage. I guess the trend is to change and tweak the genre to satiate the palates of a wider audience.

Yep, but thankfully am hearing a lot of these new artist on ASOT, which has improved considerably over the years, would rate it over TATW and GDJB at present.. Lol looking the future favorites being voted its clear what the audience likes :) but thanks to AVB for yet providing good new music by unheard artist...

Well, as Aces said, the ASOTs I heard, were awesome to say the least. Reminded me much of the first few ASOTs I heard :ohyeah: The quality of the older episodes are in a different league altogether. I wouldnt say that the new ones are bad, but the older ones were better. Now ofcourse, every second or third episode comes up with a good tune or another. But on the whole, having an ASOT or a TATW which has a great beat to it throughout is hard to come by. And I must say, many of the tunes played are also reworks on older songs. However, that Bruised Water tune is awesome. A job well done I must say!!! :ohyeah:

Heard Airwave's new album - Touareg, f00kin awesomeness, really like the first cd, the album is a pure masterclass after trilogeek (i cant type the letter 'kyu' in my keyboard so plz excuse me). Rain Stars Eternal by Solarstone is another good album.Nightmusic Volume 3 by Thrillseekers is good (1st better than the second).
 
Oh yeah touareg and Rain Stars Eternal are quite good and nightmusic is class as well.

I wonder if anyone's heard sunlounger - sunny tales.

Sheesh...no wonder I find Songbook to be decent. Thats what happens when you dont get to keep a track on the latest :P hehe. Now I gotta try to get my hands on the above albums :ohyeah:
