Hi guys, I'm looking to upgrade my old Samsung led to a 4k tv. I've looked at multiple models from different brands but my heart lies with the LG BX 55. I am getting a display model at 92500 from Vijay Sales. Also getting one for 99k from flipkart.

Which one should I go for or should I wait till diwali for better deal? I haven't found this model in a brick and mortar store elsewhere.

I am getting a 3 year warranty for the display piece so that should cover any damages. I'd also appreciate if you guys could share any sleeper picks in the 60k-90k range.

Dont get the display model. All OLED TVs have a certain lifespan. Now that number is quite large but one can never be certain when it will fail.
A display model must have been there for at least 6 months or even more. That much life has already been spent there. My advice would be get a brand new one and also extend your warranty, just in case

Also there are very few OLED in market. I don't think that there is anything in 60k range.

Agreed. Display piece is no go for OLED TV atleast, it would be a different story for an LCD. Display pieces would have collected dust, fingerprints and running > 12 hours a day mostly the same channel and some burn-in (logo & non moving images) would've already happened. Better go with a new piece for a peace of mind. All the best.
