You wont need the Decryption Skill in ME 2, so don't worry. You were getting 'Decryption Skill too low' in ME1 because you were playing Soldier class. Also, engineering skills of your team members might be low.

If you wannna increase your " Decryption skill" in ME2, just buy decryption upgrades. One or two maybe is available in Omega. Others you'll find in different planets.
 
Is it only me who got a hard time adjusting to the name "Thane"? :p When i read his name for the first time, i pronounced it as Thaa-nae(like the place near mumbai ). Later on i adjusted to Thae-n
 
Fired up ME2 .. just 1 word... no 3 word :) Mind feaaking Awesome :clap:

Completed the Omega mission, dropped in Citadel for a while . Right now i have only one question . " Oh Ashley , Wher art thou ! " . Do i get to see any "bunk with me " stuff in ME2 ;)

OK forgot to update! Yesterday was a kickass day for me and ME 2! :p

Completed loads of side missions, completed loyalty missions for everyone apart from Jacob. Have to recruit Tali and finish her loyalty mission as well. Oh and Jack switched her loyalty to normal from loyal cos I sided with Miranda when the 2 of them entered into a tiff. Meh I <3 Miranda over Jack anyway. Kissed her before ofc - eagerly waiting for the next step. Whenever that happens i.e. :p The best war was the arena in Grunt's loyalty mission! Killing that thresher maw brought back some good ol' memories. Today hopefully, I'll be done with Jacob's loyalty mission as well. Paragon status - one more bar to be completed and I am a frigging' hero! Yay! Got loads of upgrades for the squad, Normandy & Shepard! :D
 
I would suggest "lots of exploring" and try to side to one side of choices. If your good, "be good always" or else you'll get issues in ME2 later if you use your me1 saves.

For this game, the only tips that we can provide is to level up your character and get a good arsenal. The ending won't be as relentless and nerve wrecking as ME2. Also, like Jojo mentioned, you have to explore a lot of areas. Invest a great deal of time in going through each Galaxies and exploring it's quests and resources. Don't ignore side missions, they really help you in building up your character stats. Rest is all up to you. Be content with whatever ending you get. If you're curious of what the alternate ending would have been, then use YouTube. But stick to your choices and it's consequences, good or bad.
 
Alright thanks guys.:) actually i was curious if the ending has anything to do with the whole series i mean will it effect the beginning of ME2 also.
 
Ending and choices made during the game Only affects the characters who are gonna be alive in ME 2 and certain relations with some should you decide to port your character to ME2.

Like i sacrificed the council for the greater good :p , so in ME 2 the new council wont even talk to me
 
Why are you guys playing it now? This game has been out for a while.

Oh and for those that are playing the 2nd game,I suggest you complete all the side missions and ship upgrades that your team-mates recommend.

So inorder to get the actual ending, complete all side quests + be nice to everyone + . Is it ?

PS: Can i find Ashley in ME2 ? I really miss her :(
