Started the title yesterday evening and completed 3 chapters.
Max looks a lot world weary now - he has bulked up and is severely addicted to alcohol and painkillers. Loved the two new gameplay mechanics - Last Man Standing and last enemy kill. The transition between cutscenes and the game is absolutely seamless. On two different occasions I failed to realise that the gameplay has resumed and Max died taking shots from the enemy AI! There are no loading screens either. The only downside I happened to notice is the Portuguese dialogue exchanges that aren't converted to English subtitles. Visually, the game looks spectacular and runs with most settings maxed out (MSAA, FXAA, AF - 4x, Tessellation - High, SSAO) at a constant 60 fps. I haven't switched to the 12.6 CAP Beta 2 driver and the 12.4 driver works just fine. I am referring to the Dx11 mode here.
PS: Not sure how many of you know about this already but the term Bullet Time appears to be a registered trademark of Warner Bros. which started from 'The Matrix' trilogy. I did not know this until I saw the disclaimers in the startup screen.
