Storage Solutions Moser baer 20x Dvd writer

i went to chandini chawk in kolkata to get my replaced HD and also to buy a new dvd writer ...i asked the shopkeeper about litenon 20x dvd writer and he showed me "mosebaer" 20x dvd writer ..i was confused there was no liteon written on the box ...to my amusement shopkeeper replied liteon is now mosebaer ... is that true ?

due to confusions i did not bought dvd writer

pls suggest me what to buy and is moserbaer any good ?
 
Guess what my local shop keaper told me?

When I asked for a Litey he showed my a MoserBaer. When I enquired he said "MoserBaer ne Liteon ko le liya" (MoserBaer bought LiteON"

I said WTF? I actually laughed on his FACE but, didn't bother to correct him.

Anyways, yes, MB is selling re-branded Liteon. Even their FW is rebadged. When you burn using it CD-DVD shows the info as burned with MoserBaer model no. XXXXX
 
Yes, Go for the Samsung SH-S203B or D.

I have recently bought them and they are good drives and very silent compared to the LiteONs.

Dont go for Samsung DVD writers
If you dont want to make 6 radially equal pieces of your DVD i.e. (Believe me, that is exactly what my friend got when he inserted a blank MB DVD in a brand new Samsung drive ).:rofl:

Go for Lite-On ( It does make a littke bit more noise but nothing to lose your sleep over for):hap2:

I feel that is a rash comment. Just because it happened to one of your friend doesn't mean the drives are crap.

I myself am a LiteON fan but, the Samsung Models which I mentioned currently burn better than the Liteys.

Even I'm a Liteon fan, but you have to give credit where it is due- the SH 20X series are good, and better in some respects to the current Liteons

But I still bought a liteon- I'm a fanboi :rofl:
 
look at my verbatim go u will find some scans of stuff burnt with the samsung. its a good dvd writer imo , i have burnt over like 150 - 200 discs already flawless.

They've burnt my TY great and good MBI as well.

Can i say Ditto... Burnt exactly 110 Discs and 5 of them were coasters cause of user error :)

Ofcourse on Samsung...
