^^ Dude me too was from Mumbai University only :P
And yes paper checking is crap and that's what the advantage we need to take

Haha.. When I was in school, in the English exam, we used to be given words for sentence formation. So if I came across any word whose meaning I didnt know.. I'd write.. " Since Ram didn't know what <word> meant, he looked for it in the dictionary." :P

In my 4th semester Pharmacology paper, I had not studied for it at all as I had returned from Inter college Cricket tourny only one night before the start of exams.

As anticipated, I didn't know 8/10 questions, so I wrote utter BS for answers. Now discussing the answers was pretty easy in the exam hall, but since the people around me were also in the same boat, we couldn't even discuss amongst ourselves.

At the end of the paper, I wrote, " I did not cheat in this exam".

Surprisingly I got passing marks. :)

Wrote a lovely flirtatious letter to one of my professor's. However the paper was marked by an alternate professor. In the end, we ended up going out on a date.

And ace'd the exam. It was English, so meh ~ ~

Edit :-

And in office earlier this year, i was asked to write the SOP for wanting to join a special training program. And i indirectly wrote how meaningless and hypocritical the questions or the purpose of the SOP actually was. I got into the program ~ ~

My Engg exam Rule:

The marks that you get is directly proportional to the cumulative weight of your answer sheets and inversely proportional to the accuracy of your answers

Agreed....Once even after solving extra questions and all i can only managed 44 marks.....

I decided to pay bak..

From next sem onwards..i used to study just one diagram and the index of the book...and used to fakofy the same stuff all over the paper.....My first answer and 4 th answer was word to word same...plus used to knowingly increase size of supplement by writing tall....lines on both margins...cleanliness by changing para every 4th line....

For 10 marks my funda was 2 marks per page and so on....

I was thrilled to score 66 in software testing papers(2nd highest in class.first was 71).......by doing the same stuff as mentioned above...

Thats the reason even after being an enggr i dont call one myself...as i see what i gained is zero knowledge by doing wrong :)

Also one of my frnd wrote once in paper plz pass me else ill have to sell my kidney to continue studies...lolzz

In skool one of my frnd wrote the song ek do teen in hindi essay and was caught.....

Same with me. I used to write precise and to the point answers in the first two years of my Engg exams and that got me only 70% each year, For the third year, I tried lengthening the answers (though no nonsense) and took lot of additional's for each paper. Each of my papers were about 52~60 pages in length. (12 page main answer sheet and 10~12 additionals of 4 pages each). I had a swelling on my right hand joint that took 2 weeks to heal after the exams, but it did get me 84%

lol...

once i made up a story for a social studies question which i didnt know the answer to... i got 7/8

This is one of the most funny answers i've seen:

Q) What is Assembly Language?

A) Its a language that can be understood only be parliament members!!!

for each test (internal or final) i was like unprepared(almost 60% of syllabus)....before the exams....guys wid full on preparation used to ask "are tune ye padha" ..."ye padh" ..."ye wala chapter kar imp hai" ....i was like :O (wtf never reached tht chapter) ...so there are so many times in so many subject i written absurd thing which is not even related to question ....for sack writing i used to do that ( we all knw abt Mumbai university )

few incident i want to share here r....

written question several times as answer for question during internal exam.... (fir bhi mks milta tha)

repeating same para again and again ( many of us do this )

in 2005 ....seveth sem exam ....i had chosen embedded systems as elective.....till the exam we didnt know the exact syllabus of subject (coz every time new syllabus were introduced during our academic year ...so there were no previous years paper for refrence )....there were certain flaws in syllabus....as usual i was not fully prepared for the exam....tension was there...as it was final year paper..... when we received the paper....everybody in the class are laughing by seeing each other face....wtf....one person told the supervisor "sir , u have given us wrong paper " ..... all the questions were NOT from syllabus ...so we complained about it to our HOD....told us to write anything but attempt atleast 80mks ....then we will send letter to MU ( thy never send n e letter )....i was like hooooo....was feeling bad abt scholar students :P (sari mahenat pani mein gayi ).....later we found tht paper was set from ME syllabus instead of BE :P ....It can only happens with MUMBAI UNIVERSITY

i surely say for this paper not only me but all the ppl from all the colleges in 2005 who had chosen "Embedded System" as elective must have written absurd things :P

i got 45 mks ( 90 mks ka paper attempt kiya tha )....:D

I was from same batch....

As i m scholi in fakofy whole class was stunt when i used to ask supplement on supplement...

Scored 59-60 i guess....

Felt bad for scholi student from top 2 ennggr college as they had no habit to fakofy or used to think its against their ethics...they got KT ...and as it hampered many ppl on campus placement they later took some morcha....but companies later allowed them with 2 KTs than they stopped crying

Used to do this for kannada paper back in school. In long answer questions, the teacher never used to read a word of the actual answer, but give marks based on how long it is. I found that answers which i had written absolutely correct i only got 2.5 or out of 4.

Soooo the next exam i wrote half the answer on the bottom of the page and continued as a new paragragh on the next page and got 3 marks for each part = 6 marks for a 4 mark question!! Did this for quite a few questions :P
