Glowing reviews everywhere for this phone. The software seems to run really fast and smooth, and that's what's most important. If you're in that budget range, the Moto G seems like a no-brainer buy.
Call quality and network signal is also equally important on a phone :p

The network reception seems to be okay, but I just put the SIM cards in.

I'd bought a sim cutter off ebay, and it broke instead of cutting the SIM!
Luckily I was testing it on an old SIM card that I had lying around instead of my current ones.
I went to a cell phone shop and got them cut @ Rs.30 a SIM.

The back cover and the back panel seem to be the same. But it's damn hard to get the thing off.

I know you have just got your phone. But, when you get time, please answer my below queries so that I can decide on buying it as well:
  1. How is the Network signal reception?
  2. How does it work on 2G and 3G networks?
  3. Do both SIMs support 3G or is it Sim1 3g/2g & Sim2 2g?
  4. How is call quality? - Earpiece & Loudspeaker
  5. Any issues when you select Auto mode in Network?
Thanks in advance.

1) Network reception seems to be good
2&3) I think both SIMs are 3G because it gives you an option of only 2G data on each SIM when choosing data settings
4) Call quality was good in the 10 minutes I was on the phone.
5) I assume the default mode is Auto in network, and I haven't had any issues in my limited usage.

I hope you were using the way they describe to take it out. It kind of gets simpler if you follow those instructions.

If you have a airtel/aircel/vodaphone shop neraby and if you use their respective sim cards, they cut to micro/nano sim for free. Dont lose the balance portion of the sim card, its useful for other phones.

When will this exclusivity end and we can order it from Amazon or other websites?
I'm waiting for the price war.

Only when someone takes the initiative and imports the phone...since flipkart is the importer, they have no interest in providing this product to anyone else.

SoT (screen on time) someone please? Ecomexpress has told me that phone will come on 10th or 11th now :( yesterday they said it will come today lol.

Something about the phone which I dont have high hopes for: the camera and battery.

FOr a smartphone mine would be specs, battery then features.

Moto G is the cheapest phone for the price in the world. There will be some quality flaws. Buyers enjoy the phone, don't crib :p

Exactly!! The phone gives you So much more value at It's price. Enjoy the experience rather than analyzing every inch. Imagine you bought a micromax instead of this!!

I ordered the white flip case because the black was OOS, anyone wants to exchange my white with their black flip case let me know .
