After launching mid range moto g 3rd gen. motorolo is planning on launching flagship next month as confirmed by bgr.in but havent confirmed which model.
this is gonna a huge hit just like with price ratio.
The Moto X Style is the more premium of the two featuring a 5.7-inch QHD display, 1.8GHz Snapdragon 808 hexa-core processor, 3GB of RAM, and 16GB/32GB/64GB internal storage that can be expanded using a microSD card.

It also features a 21-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel wide-angle selfie camera, and a 3,000mAh battery. Connectivity options include 4G LTE support, and on the software front, it runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.
The Moto X Play, on the other hand, is a more affordable variant with a massive battery. It features a 5.5-inch 1080p display, 1.7GHz Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB/32GB internal storage with microSD card slot.

The talking point is the huge 3,630mAh battery, which the company claims is good enough for up to 48 hours of mixed usage. It also features a 21-megapixel rear camera with dual-CCT flash, 5-megapixel selfie camera, and on the software front, it runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.

Just as expected, this Friday, Motorola released the Moto X Play in Canada, which seems to be the first country in the world to get the new smartphone.

Right now, Canadian customers can buy the Moto X Play from five carriers. Videotron and SaskTel are the ones that are selling the new handset for the lowest prices off-contract: 399.95 Canadian dollars, and 399.99 Canadian dollars, respectively - meaning about $303 USD.

QHD or FHD? Most sites give the display resolution as FHD with ~400 ppi. QHD would have been sweeter.

I believe it will launch by this week or max next week, style will probably launch around October.

I predict the price of the 16GB version will be between 20- 22k and 32GB will be 25k.

So, Moto X Play official price can now be accurately estimated.

16GB -> 18.5k
32GB -> 20k

Logic: Motorola retail price(Moto G3) = Custom Pricex1.2 (both 8GB and 16GB).

Similar for Moto X2 as well but its running out of stock so little difference is there. But its around the same 1.2x ballpark.

Dude are u in whatsapp group ;)

BTW it would be a fail if they price like this...

should minimize the profits and price it 18k for 32 gb and 16.5 for 16...
moto e multiplying factor was 1.05 or something

for 20k u can add 5k and get way better phones

There's a Whatsapp group? Where?

If they price it that low that'll decimate the entire sub 20k competition. Lets hope.[DOUBLEPOST=1442128566][/DOUBLEPOST]
We'll know the official price of Moto Play in just over 26 hrs from now. It is being launched on Flipkart at 12 noon tomorrow.
I'll probably buy it once I get rid of my LG G2, and the tempered glass screen protectors for the X Play launches.

Moto X prices have always been unreasonable- unlike the E and G. I'm guessing 22k for 16gb and 25k for 32gb.

Moto X play seems a better choice than Oneplus two after reading your review.

Just hoping that Motorola prices it right ; it's 22k in Europe, if it's priced below 20k for Indian market, it'll be a great success (similar to Moto G 3rd generation, which is priced lower in India compared to West).

Damn thing heats up like a furnace. And then you also have the Indian climate. Put the SD810 together with Indian summer and you are effectively holding a frying pan in your hand.

Better to go for X Play or Style, even the Nexus 5 will work better here.

Dude, in getting different results now. Turned off the gesture and using Nova launcher maximise the battery life. Waiting for OOS 2.1 update.
