Motorola Photon 4G thread

Friends my cuzin bro is coming from US next month.

So am planning to buy a photon 4G in good condition to use in india.

I will be giving his address as the shipping address to the ebay seller.

i am looking for a less costly deal.

used piece is ok for me.I need a unlocked device.

please suggest some good deals.

You need PayPal and their are few seller for accepting credit card directly.

But its better to have PayPal protection.

I dont have a credit card

I dont have a verified paypal account also.

But the seller listed it as 'shiping to paypal verified address only'!

But I am planning to ship it to my cuzins address in US.

Any help will be appreciated!!

You need to ask your cousin to purchase it on your behalf using his ebay id and credit card.

Bought a Photon from ebay.com. Anyone had any problems with sending sms? I am able to receive them, but not able to send them. I am with Airtel. Is this a hardware or software issue? Any Photon users with similar problem?

never had such problem on my friend's phone.he's using vodafone.i think a bit more description abt the problem may help.error message,etc.

I guess your problem is with sms center number.

Try checking that.You can find that in message app settings->advanced setting

I have the Photon. GPRS and 3G works on Airtel and should do on any other GSM band. Use the the tweaker app to get your settings.

I want to buy a moto photon.
What is the exact procedure to buy motorola photon from ebay.com and ship it to India.
Someone kindly answer with details, it is very confusing.

I have a few questions.
1) How to create a ebay.com account?
2) After winning the bidding what should we do, very confused about sns, icc etc.
3)How do we send money to the seller on ebay

1.No need to create ebay.com account. You can use the same ebay india account to buy from US

2.After winning an auction. while making the payment add your SnS US address as the default shipping address.

3.You can pay by credit card or a via paypal .Depend on the seller. If its a paypal payment you can get help from TE members
